Revolutionizing Events: Discover the Game-Changing Benefits of Using Storage Containers for Your Next Outdoor Spectacle

0

Throwing an outdoor event? With spring fast approaching, weather forecasts will start to look a lot brighter, making now the perfect time to start planning yours. There are many benefits to hosting outdoor events, but they do require extensive planning.

During this process, it’s easy to get caught up on details like entertainment, food and guest list. However, this may mean you’re forgetting about storage. Storage space is often an overlooked aspect of event planning, but it’s actually integral to the success of the party.

You’ll want all your goods on-site, so you can easily access things like beverages and entertainment props. Plus, safe storage is essential for giving workers a place to leave their possessions while they’re entertaining your guests.

One of the best storage solutions for an outdoor party is containers. While they may not be the first thing that pops into your mind, they’re extremely handy for outdoor parties and we’re here to tell you why. Continue reading our guide to see why storage containers are the perfect addition to any outdoor event.

Secure storage

Security is paramount when it comes to storing valuables, supplies and merchandise for an outdoor event. Storage containers are an excellent choice for this as they’re made of robust steel, have anti-vandal properties and have state-of-the-art locking systems.

This should ensure your staff members all feel confident that their goods will be kept safe while they work and you can rest assured that your merchandise won’t be stolen.

Weather resistant

As we know the weather is not always on our side – even when the weather forecast says it should be sunny, so a storage container hire may be the best option to keep your valuables safe and dry. This storage is completely weatherproof, so you won’t need to worry about rain, snow or any other extreme weather type getting in.

On-site convenience and huge capacities

By having everything on-site, you can maximise productivity, speed up your set up and concentrate on providing attendees with an amazing experience. As snacks, drinks or other party goods run out, your workers can quickly go to the onsite storage facility to quickly replace them, ensuring guests aren’t waiting long for a top-up.

What’s more, storage containers have huge capacities. This eliminates the need for more offsite storage facilities, decreasing transportation costs and downtime between events.

For outdoor events of all shapes and sizes, storage containers provide a multitude of advantages, ranging from improved security and weather resistance to adaptable storage options and easy accessibility. Consider hiring one for yours and book it early to ensure you aren’t left short on storage space by the time your outdoor party rolls around.

North West entrepreneur invites others to ‘come home’ for inclusion event

0

From start-ups to seven-figure founders, entrepreneurs are coming together from across the globe to learn and connect in Bolton next month.

Bolton Stadium is playing host as the new home to the fastestgrowing inclusive personal and business development event, The BIG Festoon on March 21 and 22.

Attracting celebrity keynote speakers, business owners both from the local area and from across the globe, and connecting people who are working on their side hustles while still employed, The BIG Festoon is an event focused on sharing knowledge, inspiring action and creating opportunities, particularly for those in selfemployment.

Created by North West-based international speaking coach, No.1 best-selling author, and mum-of-3, Dani Wallace (pictured) the event now in its fourth year.

It has grown from an initial 40 people at The Impossible in central Manchester, to selling out the 350 people event space at Manchester United, to now expanding into Bolton Stadium to double the sizeWith this expansion comes a greater focus on inclusion, so that the event really is open to all.

Dani (40) said: “I remember reading about a survey (from the British Association for the Advancement of Sciencewhich said that Boltonians are the friendliest people in BritainThis is the vibe I am bringing to this event – open arms – where people can ‘come home’ no matter where they are from.

Committed to providing a ‘safe space for conversations that matter’The BIG Festoon is an example of an inclusive event, which is actively inviting people from diverse backgrounds and marginalised communities, who often feel excluded from big mainstream events ‘to come to the party’, reassuring them it’s safe for them to do so, having made inclusion and accessibility a huge priority in their planning process.

Part of the rapid expansion of the event has been due to Dani, who grew up on the council estates of Preston and who is a survivor of domestic abuse, embracing wider communities of entrepreneurs as the event has grown.

She said: “I have always felt ‘different’ throughout my life. But my strength and success has come from embracing my difference and having a strong voice, so this is something I am passionate about helping others to do. Initially I set this event up to celebrate the voices of female entrepreneurs – to give them a platform as many were still not being heard in the business space -especially on speaking circuits, which I had experienced myself.

“As I have grown my business and grown as a person, I have been introduced to, and indeed immersed in, other cultures and communities which I recognise need support to be heard and celebrated. Having grown up singing in clubs and pubs and travelling the world as a professional singer, I have always been an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. Making my events a safe space for all has become a key focus in helping people from underrepresented communities be seen.

“Helping them see other people like them take up space, be wellreceived and welcomed with open arms is part of my mission. Last year I was delighted to give my stage to Alex Jay Lynam of Beyond The Binary, who shared their non binary journey as a keynote speaker. Alex, from Manchester, has now become a part of my consultancy team who has helped me create an event that feels genuinely safe for all – and this is a joy to be able to achieve.”

One of the keynote speakers on this year’s lineup representing the LGBTQIA+ community is the incredible transgender singer songwriter and former X-Factor star Dylan Holloway, winner of music show Project Icon, which saw him hit the charts making music with Jason Derulo.

Dylan will be sharing his story of selfdiscovery, encouraging everyone to connect with their authentic selves, no matter what gender they are. Sponsors for the event also include Queer Business Club – a community which offers collaboration + content for queer business owners.

Being a mum to a neurodivergent son and having ADHD herself, Dani is also a huge champion for inclusion around neurodiversity. Jo McMeechan, a SEN mum and founder of SENStory, who is a former speaker at this event who braved sharing her message of challenges and triumph in this area, has also joined The BIG Festoon accessibility team.

Jo is on a mission to build inclusive environments where everyone can thrive, has supported Dani to help create an event which is accessible to those with additional needs.

She said: “From Sensory Breakout Spaces, to pronouns on badges, to captioning the talks and trigger warnings when it comes to sensitive topics, to accessible seating, to venue information being supplied to help reduce overwhelm, and a ‘flight squad’ – our team of volunteers, which includes certified therapists and health and wellness practitioners, there are an abundance of measures that have been put in place to open this event up to people who often feel ‘they are not invited to the partybecause the party is ‘their worst nightmare’.

“It’s not right that people with additional needs or psychological safety challenges should be excluded from vibrant, empowering events – there is a way for them to be a part of these experiences, in a way that suits them, where they feel safe.”

The BIG Festoon takes place during Neurodiversity Celebration Week, a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurodevelopmental disorders and learning disabilities.

It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by providing organisations with the opportunity to recognise the many talents and advantages of being neurodivergent, while creating more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual.

A further piece of the inclusion jigsaw is being looked at in partnership with Manchester born and bred Samantha Lubanzu, who with over two decades of HR experience, is currently the Vice-Chairperson of the CIPD Manchester.

Samantha is working with Dani shining a spotlight on black-owned businesses that often face underrepresentation and is hosting a table for black owned business owners – she said: When you’ve got somebody who is white and straight presenting, running a business event, the general consensus is that it’s going to be attended by a lot of straight white women, and that isn’t the case for The BIG Festoon, so I want to show black business owners that there is a place for them here.

Set within the backdrop of inclusivity, the talks within the event are set to appeal to all business owners. Bringing in speakers who have already achieved great success, like event Headline Sponsor Lisa Johnson from That Strategy Co who has made £16million over the last 7 years, whilst working around her twins, and keynote Speaker Laurie Burrows who started her business whilst pregnant and now celebrates turning over up to 100K a month by the age of 30, the event is set to inspire, educate and motivate ambitious entrepreneurs looking to achieve the same.

Also sharing the stage is worldrenowned speaker Daniel Priestley – an awardwinning entrepreneur, and best-selling author who started with nothing, then built successful multi-million dollar businesses in Australia, UK and Singapore. These experts will be sharing knowledge on how others can also scale, whilst working flexibly, and still enjoy life.

But the majority of the lineup is curated from entrepreneurs earlier in their journey – who will be taking to the stage at Bolton Stadium, in front of 800 people, to share their stories and messages as part of their commitment to overcome their fears of glossophobia, and as part of their mission to create bigger ripple effects with their work.

Dani said: This isnt your usual business event – what we explore here are subjects that matter on a very human level – not just on a business level. We talk fears, and limiting beliefs, money blocks and marketing and we also talk about what it takes to succeed and over these 2 days its my job to help everyone in that audience to see how they can slay their own dragons, so that they can grow, and walk away more confident and more ready to take their place in the world.

Local entrepreneurs from the North West taking to the stage include; Nicola Parker, of Stronger Than Your Mind, a Mental Fitness Mentor for business owners from Oldham; Janine McDonald founder of Clear the Clutter from Swinton.

Tickets are available via https://www.thebigfestoon.co.uk/ and there are a couple of sponsorship slots left if any businesses would like to be a part of this too. For more info email [email protected]

Manchester United: Hojlund ruled out for ‘two to three weeks’

Manchester United have confirmed in-form striker Rasmus Hojlund will miss the “next two to three weeks’ with a muscle injury.

The Denmark international endured a difficult start to life at Old Trafford following his summer switch from Atalanta – he had to wait until Boxing Day before grabbing his first Premier League goal – but has been prolific of late.

His two goals at Luton last Sunday saw him break the record for the youngest player to score in six successive Premier League matches.

Hojlund has struck up a fine relationship with fellow young guns Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho and his absence will be keenly felt when United host Fulham tomorrow.

Should he miss the full three weeks, Hojlund would also sit out the FA Cup trip to Nottingham Forest in midweek as well as league games with Manchester City and Everton.

India v England: Brilliant Root drags tourists back from the brink

Joe Root came good when it mattered to drag England away from a perilous position and into a place of relative strength in the fourth Test against India.

Yorkshireman Root has had a quiet series by his lofty standards – averaging just 12.8 – but his unbeaten 106 helped the tourists bounce back from 112 for five to 302 for seven at the close in Ranchi.

With England 2-1 down in the five-match series with two to play, it looked as though India were about to deliver the killer blow when captain Ben Stokes was the fifth man out. But Root, in tandem with Ben Foakes, and, latterly, the recalled Ollie Robinson, led a stubborn recovery that saw England end day one on top.

Debutant Akash Deep was the pick of the Indian attack, taking three for 70 – fine figures that would have been enhanced further had it not been for an early no-ball call that saved Zak Crawley.

He refused to be disheartened, though, producing a fiery opening spell that saw him run through England’s top order.

Ben Duckett (11) edged behind to Dhruv Jurel, Ollie Pope was trapped lbw on review for a second ball duck and Crawley (42) saw his off-stump clattered as Akash claimed his third wicket in 11 balls.

Root’s county college Jonny Bairstow also came in this game out of nick but he showed flashes of his best in a breezy 38 off 35 balls before an ill-judged sweep shot to Ravichandran Ashwin saw him depart – again after a review.

And when Stokes came and went quickly, Ravi Jadeja getting in on the act with a ball that kept low and struck the Durham all-rounder just above the ankle, England were in deep trouble.

The response was as impressive as it was needed.

It also required a different approach as England made a rare departure from ‘Bazball’ to slowly and carefully rebuild.

Root brought up his 50 from 108 balls as he and Foakes guided England through a wicket-free afternoon session to move the score on to 198 for five.

Foakes’ impressive knock came to an end in the seventh over after the interval when he mis-timed a drive off Mohammed Siraj to fall three runs shy of what would have been a deserved half-century.

Siraj also claimed the wicket of Tom Hartley for 13 before Root brought up his 31st Test ton, and 10th against India, with a lovely cover-drive. His 100 came off 219 balls to become the slowest of the ‘Bazball’ era.

It may not have been his most fluent but it was Root at his grittiest. Sturdy defence and the ability to find gaps characterised one of his best knocks for his country.

Robinson played well for his 31 not out to keep him company to the close.

India vs England: Rehan Ahmed out of tour to attend family matter

Leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed will leave England’s tour of India on Friday and not return because of an urgent family matter.

The 19-year-old took 11 wickets at an average of 44 in the first three tests but was not selected for the start of the fourth test in Ranchi on Friday.

Ahmed’s need to leave the tour did not arise until after England named their fourth-test team.

“He will not be returning to India,” England said in a statement, telling Ahmed to “take care”. “England will not be replacing Ahmed for the rest of the tour.”

Rehan Ahmed: India tour ‘special’

Ahmed holds the record for the youngest man to play Test cricket for England, making his debut at the age of 18 against Pakistan in Karachi in December 2022.

Captain Ben Stokes praised Ahmed for how he dealt with a Visa issue which threatened his involvement in the third test.

“Playing cricket for England is something I never thought I would do,” Ahmed told Talksport earlier this month.

“Being part of this team makes it even more special. Everyone is rooting for each other – it’s the most positive thing.

“It’s unbelievable to be in this squad, with the things we have achieved and the way we play.

“The way Stokesy looks after us and talks to us, and trying to get a wicket with every ball, is just great.”

In Search of Excellence: How to Identify the Best Mobile App Development Company for Your Business

0

In today’s digital age, having a mobile app for your business is no longer just an option – it’s a necessity. With the majority of consumers relying on smartphones and tablets for everything from shopping to banking, having a well-designed and functional mobile app can significantly enhance your brand’s visibility, customer engagement, and overall success. However, developing a high-quality mobile app requires expertise and resources that may not be readily available in-house. This is where partnering with a reputable mobile app development company becomes essential.

Choosing the right mobile app development company EffectiveSoft can be a daunting task, given the abundance of options available in the market. However, by following some key criteria and conducting thorough research, you can identify the best partner for your business needs. In this article, we’ll explore the essential steps to finding the perfect mobile app development company

Define Your Requirements

Before beginning your search for a mobile app development company, it’s crucial to clearly define your requirements and objectives. Consider factors such as the platform (iOS, Android, or both), features and functionalities needed, target audience, budget, and timeline. Having a clear understanding of your project requirements will help you narrow down your options and communicate effectively with potential partners.

Research and Shortlist

Once you have a clear vision of your project requirements, start researching potential mobile app development companies. Look for companies with a proven track record of delivering high-quality apps within your industry or niche. Read client testimonials, case studies, and online reviews to gauge their reputation and level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, consider factors such as the company’s expertise in the latest technologies, team composition, and portfolio of past projects. Create a shortlist of 3-5 companies that align with your requirements and schedule initial consultations.

Evaluate Expertise and Experience

During the consultation phase, assess the expertise and experience of each mobile app development company. Inquire about their team’s technical skills, industry knowledge, and experience working on similar projects. Ask for examples of their previous work, including live apps they have developed, and evaluate the quality of design, user experience, and functionality. Additionally, inquire about their approach to project management, communication channels, and post-launch support services. A reputable mobile app development company will be transparent about its processes and capabilities, helping you make an informed decision.

Consider Quality and Innovation

When selecting a mobile app development company, prioritize quality and innovation over cost alone. While it’s important to stay within budget, opting for the cheapest option may result in a subpar app that fails to meet your expectations or attract users. Instead, focus on partnering with a company that values quality, creativity, and innovation. Look for companies that stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development, such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, or blockchain integration example of a cross-platform mobile application. A forward-thinking development partner will not only deliver a cutting-edge app but also future-proof your business against evolving market demands.

Assess Communication and Collaboration

Effective communication and collaboration are essential for the success of any mobile app development project. During the consultation process, pay attention to how each company communicates and collaborates with clients. Evaluate their responsiveness, willingness to listen to your ideas and feedback, and ability to provide timely updates and progress reports. Clear and transparent communication fosters trust and ensures that your project stays on track from conception to launch. Additionally, consider factors such as time zone differences, language barriers, and cultural compatibility when selecting a development partner, especially if you’re outsourcing overseas.

Review Pricing and Terms

Finally, review the pricing and terms proposed by each mobile app development company before making a decision. While cost is an important factor, it should not be the sole determining factor. Request detailed proposals outlining the project scope, timeline, deliverables, and cost breakdown. Compare the pricing and terms offered by each company and consider factors such as payment schedules, milestone payments, and intellectual property rights. Choose a company that offers fair and transparent pricing, aligns with your budget constraints, and provides value for your investment.

Conclusion

Finding the best mobile app development company for your business requires careful research, evaluation, and consideration of various factors. By defining your requirements, researching potential partners, evaluating expertise and experience, prioritizing quality and innovation, assessing communication and collaboration, and reviewing pricing and terms, you can identify the perfect development partner to bring your app idea to life. Remember, partnering with the right mobile app development company is not just about building an app.

His contract at City runs until the end of next season and, while he has not ruled out staying at the Etihad, he admits to fancying a crack at international management.

He told ESPN Brasil: “I would like to train a national team for a World Cup or a European Championship. I would like that.”

Asked if he had a particular country in mind, he added: “I don’t know who would want me. To work for a national team they have to want you, just like a club.”

The 53-year-old, who represented Spain at the 1994 World Cup, the European Championship in 2000 and captained his country to the gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, insists he never entered coaching with the aim of managing a team at a World Cup.

“I never thought about it like that,” he added.

“When I started in this I never thought about winning a league title or winning the Champions League. No. I thought, I have a job? Okay.

“I would like to have the experience of living through a World Cup, or a Euro or a Copa América, or whatever it is. I would like that.

“I don’t know when that would be, if that is five, 10, 15 years from now but I would like to have the experience of being a manager in a World Cup.”

Six Nations 2024 – Scotland v England: Furbank recalled as Borthwick springs surprise

England coach Steve Borthwick has made five changes to his side for Saturday’s Calcutta Cup clash with Scotland at Murrayfield.

The inclusion of George Furbank at full-back is the eye-raising move with the Northampton man coming in for Freddie Steward, who is left out of the squad altogether.

Furbank has won six caps and has been rewarded for his impressive form with the Saints this season.

Centre Fraser Dingwall, who started England’s 16-14 win over Wales a fortnight ago, is left out in favour of Ollie Lawrence while Danny Care, Dan Cole and Ellis Genge were also named in the XV.

Care makes his first Six Nations start in six years, coming in for the injured Alex Mitchell at scrum-half with props Cole and Genge replacing Joe Marler and Will Stuart.

There was no place for the fit-again Manu Tuilagi.

“We’re pleased with the start we’ve made to our Guinness Six Nations campaign but know that a difficult test awaits us in Edinburgh against an in-form Scotland team,” said Borthwick.

“The atmosphere is always special for any Calcutta Cup match and I’m sure this weekend’s game at Murrayfield will be no different.

“This group of players are looking forward to the challenge on Saturday and to creating some very special memories.”
