Beetham Nurseries – Christmas is Coming

The elves at Beetham Nurseries, a family-owned garden centre near Milnthorpe in Cumbria, have been getting into the festive mood. The garden centre has been transformed both inside and out over the last few weeks in preparation for the Christmas period.

The popular destination garden centre will host their first Christmas Market Weekend from the 1st – 4th of December 2022, and there is plenty to look forward to as they kick off the countdown to Christmas in style.

Beetham Nurseries has invited ten local businesses to exhibit their products on their opening weekend this year. In addition, customers will be able to shop for new Christmas decorations and choose the perfect tree for their home. Items for sale will range from homemade arts and crafts to locally produced food and drink.

This free four-day event will feature festive chalets housing fantastic local businesses, delicious food and drink, plenty of Christmas family fun, and live music throughout the weekend, bringing the sights, sounds, and smells of the holiday season to life!

Ten local businesses will sell their premium products for all four days of the Christmas Market Weekend, so there will be something for everyone to get into the Christmas spirit.

Jess Firth, marketing manager said, “It is a privilege to be welcoming such fantastic local businesses, selling their premium products for all for days of the Christmas Market Weekend.”

She continued, “We wanted to invite businesses who are based on our doorstep and have something unique to offer to our customers, friends and visitors.”

Over the four days of the opening weekend, you will be able to browse the Christmas gifts and decorations whilst listening to live music, including special guests, Beetham Primary School who will be performing at the centre’s opening on December 1st with holiday tunes to really get you in the Christmas spirit.

In addition, on December 1st, to coincide with the first of two late-night shopping events, The Garden Cafe, recipient of TripAdvisor’s “Best of the Best Travellers’ Choice Award,” will be open until 7pm.

Jess went on to say, “We have tried to pack as much into the weekend as possible and feel we have something for everyone. Our gift shop is packed with festive decorations and great gift ideas and we have free festive crafting for the kids in our marquee on Saturday and Sunday.”

“We hope that everyone who comes along enjoys the festive atmosphere, does some shopping and gets into the Christmas spirit!” she added.

Beetham Nurseries is located just 10 minutes from the M6 motorway and offers free parking and free entry.

So, if you’re looking for a unique Christmas shopping experience this year, why not come along and support some local businesses while picking up some one-of-a-kind gifts for yourself or loved ones?

Beetham Nurseries’ Christmas Market Weekend runs from Thursday, December 1st to Sunday, December 4th, 2022. Opening times vary.
