FLEET, UK. October 8th, 2026 – Medical Herbalist Mila Bancah is building on the growing interest in her Hampshire-based business, Herballea, with plans to introduce practical herbal workshops and launch an updated website. The developments mark a new stage for the business as it looks to expand its educational offering and make its herbal medicine services accessible to a wider audience.
Mila, who is based in Fleet, Hampshire, qualified and became certified as a Medical Herbalist in May after completing five years of specialist study with Heartwood Education. Her training included 550 hours of supervised clinical practice and covered anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and clinical medicine. She is also a registered member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH).
Herballea has begun building a local customer base through Mila’s appearances at markets across the region, where she introduces visitors to her herbal remedies, blends and teas.
Her herbal teas are attracting interest from people exploring traditional approaches to herbal wellness.
Personalised care remains central to Mila’s work. Herballea provides an initial, complimentary 20-minute discovery call, giving prospective clients time to discuss their needs and consider whether an individual herbal medicine consultation would be suitable.
“The individual relationship is a very important part of the work,” said Mila. “Every person is different, and my aim is to combine traditional herbal knowledge with modern clinical understanding while taking the time to understand the individual.”
Mila’s connection with medicinal plants dates back to her childhood in Poland, where her grandmother incorporated them into everyday life. She moved to England with her husband in 2003 and has since settled in Hampshire.
The knowledge and practices she encountered through her grandmother stayed with her into adulthood and eventually helped inspire her decision to retrain as a Medical Herbalist.
Her five-year qualification provided a comprehensive clinical education at Level 6, equivalent to bachelor’s degree level. Mila now draws on this professional training alongside traditional herbal knowledge in her work with patients.
Herballea’s upcoming plans include practical workshops, with the first sessions expected to begin in late October. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about selected herbal remedies and explore techniques that may be adapted for use at home.
Future plans also include making the workshops available online, potentially extending their reach beyond the local Hampshire community.
An updated Herballea website is scheduled for launch later in the year. The new platform will support the business’s development as it moves towards 2027, building on the foundations established through local markets and in-person consultations.
Mila is also continuing to develop Herballea’s Instagram presence, using the platform to share educational content, business updates, product introductions and information about the origins of different remedies and blends.
“I want Herballea to grow steadily and responsibly,” Mila said. “The focus is on education, individual consultations and creating opportunities for people to understand more about herbal medicine.”
With new learning opportunities, an updated digital presence and a continued emphasis on personalised consultations, Herballea is preparing to build on its Hampshire roots while reaching people interested in herbal medicine further afield.
