STOURBRIDGE, UK, October 8, 2026: Aesthetic Balance, the Stourbridge-based aesthetics clinic founded by Dr Nicky Westwood, has acquired Wollaston Beauty Clinic in a move that supports its ambitions to develop a new Wellness Hub. The expansion marks a significant step towards creating a destination in the West Midlands where aesthetics, beauty, health and wellbeing services can come together.
The two businesses will continue to operate alongside one another, providing a foundation for the planned expansion of the wider operation.
The long-term vision is to establish a comprehensive wellness destination that brings together a range of specialist expertise and services under one overarching concept.
Alongside the expansion of services, workforce development and education are expected to feature prominently in the next phase. Dr Nicky Westwood, founder of Aesthetic Balance, ultimately hopes to establish her own Academy, drawing on more than three decades of experience in nursing, healthcare and education.
The Academy would support the development of professionals and encourage knowledge-sharing, reflecting the values that have guided Dr Nicky throughout her career.
Dr Nicky said: “I have spent more than 30 years in nursing, healthcare and education, and this next phase is about bringing that experience together. I want to create something that goes beyond individual treatments and create a place that brings together aesthetics, beauty, health, wellbeing and education, while keeping individualised care at the heart of what we do.”
Dr Nicky Westwood launched Aesthetic Balance in 2025 after more than 30 years working across nursing, healthcare and education. A registered nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber, she entered the aesthetics sector in 2024 before opening her clinic in January 2025, following a longstanding interest in the industry.
Her decision to move into aesthetics was influenced in part by the positive role that confidence and self-care can play in people’s lives.
She added: “For me, aesthetics is about much more than a treatment. People are choosing to invest in themselves, their confidence and their wellbeing, and I want to support them to do that in a way that feels individual and considered. We don’t simply offer treatments or injectables; we take a holistic approach, assessing each person individually and developing treatment plans around what they want to achieve.”
Aesthetic Balance offers treatments for women and men, including anti-ageing procedures, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, vitamin treatments, Map My Mole, WOW Fusion®, WOW Facials®, skin analysis and LED therapy.
The clinic also provides services focused on women’s and men’s health, alongside tailored packages and events designed to meet clients’ individual needs.
The proposed Wellness Hub represents a new chapter for Aesthetic Balance, building on its current offering while creating opportunities for future growth, professional education and a broader approach to wellbeing.
