3D Chess Media Highlights Security in Top-Earning Savings Accounts

0

3D Chess Media focuses on the security safeguards of the most lucrative savings accounts, highlighting their dependability. Discover the role of these high-yield accounts in facilitating debt relief.

In the current financial climate, where consumers are eager for the best returns on their savings, attention is increasingly drawn to the highest paying savings accounts. These accounts are synonymous with high returns, but they also raise questions regarding their security.

3D Chess Media investigates the comprehensive safety measures financial institutions implement to guarantee not just profitability but also customer security in these accounts.

The Interplay of High Yields and Debt Relief

High-yield savings accounts are more than mere sources of high interest rates; they are essential for individuals pursuing debt relief. Accumulating savings in these accounts serves as a buffer for unexpected financial needs, thereby reducing the reliance on new debt.

“High-yield accounts can act as an emergency fund,” states 3D Chess Media, highlighting how increasing savings can decrease the need for debt.

Furthermore, the attraction of higher returns encourages a saving-over-spending culture. This approach to saving is crucial in diminishing long-term debt burdens.

Ensuring Security in High-Yield Savings

The safety of high-paying savings accounts is a major concern for potential depositors. Financial institutions have responded by establishing robust security measures to safeguard these accounts.

3D Chess Media reports that banks employ sophisticated encryption to protect accounts, with ongoing surveillance to detect any anomalies quickly.

Additionally, the presence of federal insurance for many high-yield savings accounts provides an additional assurance for customers’ investments.

Dispelling High-Yield Savings Security Myths

A prevalent misconception is that the highest paying savings accounts must cut corners on security to offer higher yields. However, 3D Chess Media points out that higher yields are often the result of broader market trends and banking efficiencies, not security compromises.

Maintaining a strong reputation is vital for banks, suggesting that they would avoid compromising on security, particularly for high-yield products, as it would harm their public image.

Striking a Balance Between Yield and Security

In a world where financial stability is crucial, the highest paying savings accounts offer a promising combination of high returns and strong security measures. 3D Chess Media’s research confirms that customers can enjoy substantial yields without sacrificing security. By choosing a reputable bank, they can ensure the safety of their funds and their financial future.

Manchester City v Tottenham: Preview, expected line-ups, how to watch and prediction

The State of Play

On the face of it, everything appears relatively rosy in the City garden. Unbeaten since October 8 in all competitions, smooth progress through to the knockout stages of the Champions League, and challenging once again in the Premier League.

And yet they don’t seem the dominant force they were in previous seasons, perhaps inevitably given the long-term injury suffered by Kevin De Bruyne and the departures of Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez.

A 3-2 win at home in midweek against RB Leipzig showed up some defensive frailties not associated with a Pep Guardiola team, and came on the back of domestic draws against Chelsea and Liverpool.

UEFA Champions League permutations: Who needs what to qualify for the last 16?

They still go into the weekend just a point adrift of Premier League leaders Arsenal and remain likely to clinch the title for a fourth successive year.

Tottenham were talked about as one of City’s rivals for the crown following a start to the season that saw them go unbeaten through the opening 10 games. The wheels have come off since, however, with successive defeats to Chelsea, Wolves and Aston Villa.

In Ange Postecoglou they have an experienced man at the helm and while improvement may not come immediately given the opposition on Sunday, the wily Australian will surely get them back on track in the coming weeks.

Team News

Manchester City are set to have midfielder Mateo Kovacic back while England defender John Stones will be in the matchday squad but is unlikely to start. Matheus Nunes is not available, however, and will be out for several more weeks. Kevin De Bruyne remains sidelined and is not expected back until the new year.

Tottenham can welcome back Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma from suspension but it’s not all good news with Pape Matar Sarr ruled out. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is likely to deputise in the Spurs midfield.
Rodrigo Bentancur will miss the next two months with an ankle injury sustained on his first start since spending nine months out with a ruptured ACL. Richarlison is close to full fitness but is not expected to play this weekend while Micky van de Ven and James Maddison will not return until the new year.

Expected line-ups

Manchester City: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Akanji, Ake; Rodri, Silva; Foden, Alvarez, Doku; Haaland

Tottenham: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Davies, Udogie; Bissouma, Hojbjerg; Kulusevski, Gil, Johnson; Son

What they said

Pep Guardiola on the difficulties of the Premier League with more teams able to challenge
“It’s a more difficult competition to win every season. More teams are involved, every game is so difficult. Since I arrived, Spurs have been there all the time. A fantastic team. “They have some important absences but I saw against Villa that they still created chances. Their approach is really good for football.

Ange Postecoglou of having to take on City with a depleted squad
“Irrespective of what team you’ve got, it’s always a challenge to play against City and any team Pep manages.
“You want to play against the very best. It would’ve been nice if things were smoother for us. We’ve just got to crack on and get on with it. It’s about us becoming the team we want to become. There’ll be challenges.”

When and how to watch

Manchester City v Tottenham takes place on Sunday, December 3 at 4.30pm local time. The game is live on Sky Sports Main Event as part of Super Sunday.

Prediction

Manchester City have not won in the Premier League since November 4 but that relatively barren run will come to an end against a Tottenham side whose struggles will continue for another week at least. Injury-hit Spurs will not sit back, as per Postecoglou’s ethos, but that will leave them vulnerable to a City side eager to maintain the pressure on Arsenal.
Home win.

Newcastle United v Manchester United: Preview, expected line-ups, how to watch and prediction

The state of play

It may not feel like it for a club which seems to be in perpetual crisis, but Manchester United actually enter this weekend’s set of fixtures as the Premier League’s form team.

A run of five wins in their last six league games has lifted the Red Devils to sixth in the table, four points adrift of fourth-placed Aston Villa and one clear of Newcastle United in seventh. Though those victories – over Brentford, Sheffield United, Fulham, Luton Town and Everton – have staved off any immediate threat to Erik ten Hag’s position, it seems the next setback is never far away at Old Trafford.

Wednesday’s chaotic 3-3 draw with Galatasaray in Istanbul leaves United needing a minor miracle to progress in the UEFA Champions League, with all their hard work to reach the top four in 2022-23 set to go to waste. Maintaining their domestic momentum and clinching another top-four finish is not only United’s aim, it is surely their minimum requirement.

Newcastle are also on the brink of an early Champions League exit after Tuesday’s highly controversial 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain, with VAR the talking point once again as Kylian Mbappe’s contentious stoppage-time penalty cancelled out Alexander Isak’s opener in France.

Howe’s men should be encouraged by their brave rearguard action in Paris, however, and they have made light of a lengthy injury list on the domestic front lately, winning their last five Premier League home games including a 4-1 rout of Chelsea last Saturday.

They hammered United 3-0 at Old Trafford in the EFL Cup on November 1, avenging their defeat in the final of the same competition last season. The Magpies also took four points against the Red Devils in the Premier League in 2022-23 – will they torment them again on Saturday?

Team news

United were without Marcus Rashford through suspension in Europe this week, but the England forward is eligible to return here, having ended a 12-game goal drought by converting a penalty in last Sunday’s 3-0 win at Everton.

Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount are still out, so Kobbie Mainoo will compete with Sofyan Amrabat for a starting spot in midfield, with defenders Lisandro Martinez and Jonny Evans also still out.

Newcastle are still battling a lengthy injury list, with Callum Wilson, Sven Botman, Jacob Murphy, Dan Burn, Joe Willock, Harvey Barnes and Matt Targett among their long-term absentees. Sean Longstaff is also out, so 17-year-old Lewis Miley will again start in the middle of the park.

Expected line-ups

Newcastle United: Pope; Trippier, Lascelles, Schar, Livramento; Miley, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Almiron, Isak, Gordon.

Manchester United: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw; McTominay, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.

What they said

Howe on Newcastle’s reaction to Tuesday’s controversial defeat:

“The results, whether positive or negative, can’t linger with us, even for a couple of days because that influences what happens in the future.

“When something like that happens, you allow the players to be emotional but we don’t want to view ourselves as victims. It’s happened, we put it to the back of our heads and use it as motivation. You can’t wallow in it, there’s no positive element to feeling sorry for yourself.”

On Saturday’s opponents:

“We respect their team and their manager. They are an outstanding team and I think these games against the bigger clubs are always very difficult and always decided by fine margins.

“In big moments you are looking for big players to step up and potentially win you the game. I think that is the situation we are in, but we know we are going to have to be at our very best to win.”

Ten Hag on Newcastle:

“I really respect them. It’s a difficult team to play but it’s a good challenge and I like to play against them. We have to rise to the occasion, be our best against them, because the way they play is very organised.

“On Wednesday, we played very good, also in Copenhagen. Even at Bayern Munich we played very well. We have to do some things better, eliminate individual errors, but we can sort this out. I would be more concerned if we didn’t play well.”

When and how to watch

Saturday’s game will kick off at the later-than-usual time of 20:00 in the UK, and will be shown live on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate in the UK.

Prediction

While Newcastle have a strong recent record against United and have defied their injury list to produce several brave performances lately, United will be desperate to bounce back from their latest Champions League disappointment here.

Key players are missing through the spines of both teams, so a frantic, fast-paced affair is likely. Expect a score draw as these top-four rivals take swings at one another, with neither quite managing to land a knockout blow.

Ten Hag turns to stats in defence of Manchester United shot-stopper Onana

Andre Onana has been backed to respond to his costly errors against Galatasaray by Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, who says the stats show he has been the second-best goalkeeper in the Premier League this season.

Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash with Galatasaray represented one of the low points of Onana’s young United career, as he was at fault for two goals in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

The Cameroonian was beaten by a weak Hakim Ziyech free-kick in the first half, before turning an almost identical set-piece delivery from the same player into his own net after the break.

The draw leaves United needing a minor miracle to advance in Europe, while some have questioned whether Onana’s place could be at risk ahead of Saturday’s trip to Newcastle United.

According to Opta, the former Inter shot-stopper has made seven errors leading to opposition goals in the Champions League since 2018-19, more than twice as many as any other goalkeeper.

Ten Hag, however, pointed to Onana’s expected goals on target (xGOT) stats as he defended his number one at Friday’s pre-match press conference, backing him to respond to the criticism.

“You have seen how he reacts to a bad performance because he did after Bayern Munich, he was outstanding against Burnley,” Ten Hag said of Onana.

“He is a strong character and personality, so he will deal with it.

“If you analyse it well, you see his expected goals prevented is the second-best in the Premier League, so yeah, he is doing well.

“He knows in the Champions League he made some mistakes but overall, you can see in the first five months he is doing particularly well.”

According to Opta, only Luton Town’s Thomas Kaminski (6.3) has prevented more goals than Onana in the Premier League this season, with the United goalkeeper conceding 3.7 goals fewer than his expected goals figures suggest he should have.

Elsewhere, United still have selection issues in midfield ahead of Saturday’s trip to Tyneside, with Mason Mount, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro sidelined.

Eighteen-year-old midfielder Kobbie Mainoo won plaudits for a composed display on his first Premier League start as United beat Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park last week.

While Mainoo was then benched for Wednesday’s European outing, Ten Hag said that decision was about balancing his workload as he praised the teenager’s intelligent reading of the game.

”On Sunday he was ready,” Ten Hag said of Mainoo. “Then we had to manage three games in six days to get the best results in all of those games.

“We have more than 11 players and we have good options there, like Sofyan [Amrabat], who also played a very good game [against Galatasaray].

“We have many options but we have to manage the load of the players. It is also about freshness as well.

“It always looks like he has time because of his scanning, he is running free and then scanning to see the options to make the right decisions. He can delay, he can speed things up and he makes the right decisions.”

He makes football a better place – Guardiola hails Postecoglou ahead of Manchester City v Tottenham

Ange Postecoglou “makes football a better place”, according to Pep Guardiola who expects a “fun” encounter when Tottenham visit Manchester City on Sunday.

Postecoglou has won many admirers for his brave, attacking football during his short spell in the Premier League after moving to Spurs from Celtic over the summer.

And Guardiola has first-hand experience of facing ‘Ange-ball’ when City took on Postecoglou’s Yokohama F Marinos in a pre-season friendly in 2019.

Guardiola said: “We have met once, three or four pre-seasons ago against Yokohama. Ange was the manager. It was the second pre-season game and I said ‘wow, there are things I like’.

“I said to the players I know you’re not ready but we will face a good team. They are intense in their build-up and use the keeper in the process.

“We won [3-1], but, [and with] all respect to Yokohama, we had better players. I have followed him when he was at Celtic winning trophies and now in the short time he’s been [at Spurs].

“Every team plays to the desire of the manager.

“He’s done it in the past in Japan and of course in Glasgow with Celtic and now. I think he makes football a better place.

“I would encourage our fans to come to the stadium, we will have a lot of fun.”

Tottenham topped the Premier League table after going unbeaten in their opening 10 games but successive defeats to Chelsea, Wolves and Aston Villa have seen them slip to fifth, three points behind City.

Many managers place an emphasis on defence when going to the Etihad to face last season’s treble winners – especially in the midst of a poor run of form – but Guardiola expects Postecoglou to stick to his usual gameplan.

“Absolutely not. This is not going to happen, I’d be surprised,” said the Catalan when asked if he was expecting Postecoglou to change his tactics.

“I’ve said many times that I am a manager but also a spectator, I enjoy a lot the way they play.

“All the Spurs fans can see they’ve been really good.

“I’m impressed by many things they do and the chances they create, how aggressive they are in all departments. He came here and in a few months he recognises his team perfectly.”

Guardiola placed little emphasis on Spurs’ recent defeats, insisting the results could have easily gone the other way.

“Have they dropped [the level of performance] in the games they lost? No,” he said.

“It has been quite similar to when they were winning but without [the injured James] Maddison and [the suspended Cristian] Romero it’s different. The drop is because of the players.”

England defender John Stones could return this weekend for City while midfielder Mateo Kovacic is also back in training and could feature.

Malacia blow for Manchester United

Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia will not play until the new year after suffering a setback from a knee operation.

The Netherlands full-back went under the knife over the summer and was initially expected back in 2023. But the club announced today he required further surgery and will not play until January at the earliest.

A United update read: “Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia is on course to return to action early next year, as he recovers from a knee injury.

“The Dutch left-back has not played so far this season, following an operation over the summer.

“Unfortunately, he suffered a setback during his rehabilitation, which required further surgery.

“This has been successfully completed and Malacia is now back at Carrington and working hard to be fit early in the new year.”

Malacia signed for United in 2022 from Feyenoord and has made 39 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s men.

Openshaw rapist jailed for 24 years after “heinous” attacks on women

0

A man who spiked women and raped them while they slept, has been jailed for 24 years with an extended eight-year license period.

Steven Evans’ offences included rape, sexual assault and administering a noxious substance.

The 33-year-old from Alton Square, Openshaw, was jailed at Minshull Street Crown Court following an intense investigation by North Manchester CID.

Evans also received an indefinite restraining order against all four victims and has been placed on the sex offenders register for life.

The investigation was first launched in December 2022 when officers received reports from a victim that she had found an old mobile device containing multiple indecent and explicit images of Evan’s sexually assaulting her.

When the victim located Evan’s phone, she confirmed she had no recollection of these incidents taking place and was either asleep or unconscious.

Catalogue of incidents

She also disclosed a catalogue of incidents where she had woken up with intimate body parts hurting.

When she confided in Evans, he discouraged her from going to the hospital and laughed at her. The victim also disclosed being raped while conscious by Evans.

Following this, officers located and spoke to another woman who bravely disclosed a similar experience at the hands of Evans. She told officers she was raped, sexually assaulted, and believed she was spiked by Evans.

She told officers Evans would often pressure her for sex, that he was controlling, and coerced her, threatening to harm himself if she ever left. She too discovered similar disturbing, explicit images she couldn’t recall being taken.

Internet searches

A further two victims were also identified as having been spiked by Evans at a house party.

Following Evans arrested on March 8, 2023, when all interviews had taken place, a total of 61 photographs and 35 videos that confirmed over 25 separate non-consensual sexual encounters.

In addition, there were several internet searches on Evan’s devices where he searched ‘define sexomnia’, ‘what conditions make you sleep’ and ‘what diseases make you sleep’.

Whilst he denied all the offences, he was subsequently charged and remanded. The victims have been supported by specially trained officers throughout.

Brave victims

Detective sergeant Natasha Feerick of GMP’s North Manchester CID said: Firstly, I would like to thank all four victims for their bravery and their continued support throughout our investigations. This has no doubt been an extremely difficult time for them, and I know the impact of these heinous crimes has been grave.

“The victims told the court of the fear Evans made them feel and the horror when they discovered Evans had filmed such horrific events for his own gratification. They spoke how Evans affected every area of their lives and his controlling, manipulative and evil ways made them so scared to leave.

“Evans knowingly spiked his victims with what he called ‘magic’ and preyed upon their vulnerabilities when spiked. He injured them and left them with damage to their bodies in horrific ways. His lack of remorse for the victims and their welfare is despicable. From the initial report, the investigation team worked around the clock, to gather insurmountable evidence against him.

“Securing Evans conviction was a top priority for our team, to protect our communities and bring some form of justice to all Evans’ victims. Evans is a dangerous individual who fully deserves the sentence imposed on him.

“I truly hope this sentence brings all four victims some form of closure and can rebuild their lives in the knowledge he has been removed from Greater Manchester’s streets. I hope this case demonstrates the seriousness with which Greater Manchester Police deal with reports of rape, sexual assault, and spiking. We will believe you; we will support you and we will do everything we can to bring offenders to justice.”

BREAKING NEWS: Nadal to return after one year out ahead of Australian Open

Rafael Nadal will begin his comeback from injury at the Brisbane International as the 22-time grand slam champion targets January’s Australian Open after almost a year on the sidelines.

Nadal has not played since suffering a hip injury during a surprise third-round defeat to unseeded American Mackenzie McDonald at this year’s edition of the Australian Open.

The Spaniard attempted to recover in time to feature at the French Open, but he was forced to withdraw from that tournament – which he has won a record 14 times – and undergo season-ending surgery on the injury in June.

Nadal’s injury struggles have cast doubt upon his future in tennis, with the 37-year-old saying he would likely call time on his glittering career after the 2024 season.

PGA Tour chief Monahan: End of 2023 remains a ‘firm target’ for PIF merger

The ‘King of Clay’ said in May that he was hoping to enjoy a fruitful farewell season on the ATP Tour, saying: “Next year will probably be my last year. That is my idea. If I keep going now, I won’t be able to make it happen.

“I didn’t make the decision, my body made the decision.

“That is my idea but I can’t say 100 per cent it will be like this. My idea is to try to enjoy and say goodbye to all the tournaments that have been important for me.”

Tennis Australia chief executive Craig Tiley has repeatedly talked up Nadal’s chances of featuring at Melbourne Park in recent weeks, and that looks to be a realistic goal after the Spaniard announced he would return at Brisbane in preparation for the first major of 2024.

In a video posted to his social media channels on Friday, Nadal said: “Hello everyone, after a year away from competition, it’s time to come back.

“I will be in Brisbane in the first week of January, I’ll see you there.”

The Brisbane International, part of the 250 series on the ATP Tour, begins on December 31 and runs to January 7, with the Australian Open beginning one week later.

It will be the first edition of the tournament to be held since 2019, having been discontinued as an ATP event for 2020. Previous winners include Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Nick Kyrgios.

Hero cops praised for saving girl who choked on sweet

0

Police officers were praised for their swift actions yesterday as they leapt to the rescue of a girl who had choked on a sweet.

Aaron Kincaid and James Blundell were first on the scene to a house in Tameside where they found the girl was struggling to breath and coughing up blood.

First aid in full effect

To the huge relief of the girl’s distressed parents, PC Kincaid utilised his first aid training to full effect, successfully dislodging the sweet from the girl’s throat and helping to calm her down before paramedics arrived.

Whilst PC Kincaid tended to the child, PC Blundell did everything he could to help the parents remain calm. Upon arrival, paramedics took over and the young girl was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Superintendent Mike Walsh from GMP Tameside district said: “PCs Aaron Kincaid and James Blundell acted without hesitation during the incident and took control of the situation that they were faced with.

“They deserve every credit for staying calm under extreme pressure and for working together as a team and utilising their training to lifesaving effect. I am sure the girl’s parents and family will consider the officers to be absolute heroes.

Right place, right time

PC Kincaid said: “We’re both glad that we were in the right place at the right time.

“I have a daughter the same age as the little girl who needed our help, and I cannot tell you how much of a relief it was when she started breathing normally and said she was okay after I had managed to dislodge the sweet.

“I remember saying, ‘Thank God for that’.

“The little girl gave me a thank you hug before she went to hospital, but I couldn’t have done what I did without PC Blundell’s assistance. It was a real team effort.”

Northern mayors to go head-to-head in charity DJ battle in Liverpool

Mayors Andy Burnham and Steve Rotheram are set to face off against each other in a massive DJ Battle fundraiser in Liverpool.

The pair will take to the decks on February 2 at Camp and Furnace, as Greater Manchester and the Liverpool region go head-to-head in a good-natured music battle, all for a worthy cause.

The charity event will be somewhat of a round three re-match for the pair, with their first clash taking place online during pandemic and an award-winning follow-up in Manchester in December 2022 raising over £25,000.

Proceeds from the night will be distributed between the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester charities, with all funds supporting initiatives to tackle homelessness and end the need for rough sleeping.

Helping the homeless

In the Liverpool, proceeds will be directed to homeless charities across the area through Community Foundations for Lancashire and Merseyside.

In Greater Manchester, the money will support A Bed Every Night, Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity’s flagship ongoing programme to provide emergency wrap-around support to those rough sleeping, offering guaranteed food and shelter.

Tickets released soon

Tickets for the February fixture are set to be released soon, with people urged to follow the charities’ and the Mayors’ social media accounts to be the first to know.

Andy Burnham, mayor of Greater Manchester said: “We’re coming back but this time we’re heading over to Liverpool. I was so proud of what we achieved with our DJ Battle last year, using the power of music and friendly rivalry to unite behind one powerful message, that homelessness has no place in Greater Manchester. It’s going to be bigger and better this time round, as we spread the fundraising and ramp up the noise over in Liverpool.”

Steve Rotheram, mayor of the Liverpool City Region, said: “I’ve long said that our region is the undisputed home on British music and I’m looking forward to going head-to-head with Andy to settle this debate once and for all. Best of all, this year’s contest is on home soil!

“Despite all the light-hearted jokes we make about regional tribalism, we were absolutely blown away by the support and generosity of everyone who got behind last year’s DJ battle and donated to such a cause that’s very close to all our hearts. Afterall, the measure of any decent society is how it treats its most vulnerable citizens – and we’re showing that the North West will always stand united in support of those who need it most.”

Last year’s celebration at Manchester’s Mayfield Depot saw Rowetta, Nihal Arthanayake, Stanley Chow and Clint Boon show up for Manchester, whilst Team Liverpool boasted Peter Reid, Ian McCulloch, The Farm, and actress Sue Johnston.

It famously saw Labour’s deputy leader Angela Rayner MP swap the despatch box for the decks, with a now viral clip of her spinning N-Trance’s ‘Set You Free’.

Friendly rivalry

It’s all part of a concerted and creative effort to tackle the challenge of homelessness across the region. The current financial crisis is seeing communities facing increasingly tough challenges.

The Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity remain resolute that they can address the challenges against increasing adversity, with campaigns, events and challenges that have to date raised millions.

Tim Heatley, chair of the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity, said: “The last DJ battle was epic. It ramped up the friendly rivalry between the two city regions and saw the Mayors and region’s cheerleaders all giving up their time for a common goal.

“Music has the power to unite communities and these head-to-heads have shown the willingness of music-lovers to put their hand in their pockets, support a worthy cause and have a great night in the while doing so. We’re getting warned up for Liverpool and can’t wait to bring the party to the city.”
