People are being urged to avoid an area near Bury town centre as emergency services respond to an incident.

Police and firefighters are in attendance at the A58 Rochdale Road, in Bury, near Derby Way.

Derby Way is closed in both directions close to the Rock shopping centre.

Details on the nature of the incident are yet to be confirmed.

Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for further details.
