Local Gala Concert of the Arts sponsored by Claritas Tax

On Thursday 16th February 2023, the award-winning independent tax advisory firm based in Manchester and Birmingham, Claritas Tax, will be the headline sponsor of the Friends of Whitworth (FoWs) – Dürer Gala Concert.

The event features a young early music ensemble by I Trionfi, a quintet of lute and voices, from the Royal Northern College of Music.

The Gala Concert is the highlight of the FoWs fundraising programme which supports Albrecht Dürer’s Material World Exhibition. This is the first major exhibition of Whitworth’s outstanding collection of Dürer’s woodcuts, etchings and engravings in over fifty years.

Matt Hodgson, Partner at Claritas comments: “We’re thrilled to be on board and support the Dürer Gala Concert and the work of FoW in their valuable mission of bringing the arts to life. People are at the heart of everything we do, whether that’s our teams, clients or the wider community, and what better way to celebrate this than by showcasing talented students while raising much-needed funds and support for local causes and projects. We are proud to play a part in bringing this special event to Manchester and art lovers everywhere.

Tricia Tierney, Friends of the Whitworth, chair, adds: “Art, in all its forms, enriches us. We are thrilled that Claritas share that vision and thank them for their kind generosity.”
