Manchester agency secures website redevelopment project for global food hygiene consultants

Manchester digital agency, First Internet, has completed a website development project for leading safety consultancy and technology firm, Food Alert, to reflect the changing needs of the UK food industry and support food service providers as they move to a takeaway or delivery service. The project covered website design, development, an initial SEO treatment and photography.

London-based Food Alert provides food safety, health and safety and fire safety services, software and training services to businesses across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, with clients ranging from small single site businesses to large multi-site organisations with global reach, including Pizza Express, Five Guys, Burger King and the Wolsely.

The global food hygiene consultant has worked with digital agency First Internet to promote its food safety, health and safety and fire safety services, software and training services to businesses across the UK, Europe and the Middle East and has created a special Takeaway and Delivery package that reflects the current operating challenges presented by Covid-19.

Food Alert’s marketing manager, Sylvia Rooke, said of the collaboration: “We came to First Internet with a brief to change current perceptions of the business within our market. We had already initiated a rebrand and needed to put this into practice with a new website, which more accurately positioned our brand and showcased our modern approach and tech abilities. First Internet’s response to our brief hit the nail on the head and we’re already enjoying how easy they are to work with.”

Kat Rodway, client services director at First Internet, commented: “Being invited to pitch was both a compliment and a challenge and we’re pleased to say it’s one we rose to. We’re extremely proud to work with a company of Food Alert’s calibre, with such a global reach. This was a very exciting project.”

First Internet is a full-service digital marketing agency that has been running for over 20 years. Services include website design and development, UX design, SEO, social media management and content marketing. Clients include PZ Cussons, Peak ai, Citation, Metro Rod, Sew Direct and more.
