CV Hubs Introduces Surcharge-Free Truck Wheel Hubs with New Core Rebate Scheme

The UK’s leading commercial vehicle wheel hub specialist, CV Hubs & Bearings, has announced two customer-focused improvements designed to make buying replacement wheel hubs easier and more cost effective. Workshops, fleet operators and motor factors can now purchase new wheel hubs and hub kits without paying an upfront surcharge, while also benefiting from a new core rebate programme that offers account credits of up to £50 for qualifying returned units.

The removal of upfront surcharge payments means customers no longer need to pay an additional deposit when purchasing new wheel hubs and hub kits. Traditionally, these deposits were refunded after an eligible used hub was returned, creating additional administration and tying up cash. By removing this requirement, CV Hubs has streamlined the purchasing process and eliminated unnecessary delays for customers across the UK.

At the same time, the company has introduced a core rebate programme that rewards customers who return qualifying used wheel hubs. After inspection, eligible returns can receive an account credit of up to £50. The programme currently includes selected Volvo, Renault and DAF wheel hub references.

Returning a used hub is simple. Customers attach the supplied return label to the old hub, secure it to a pallet and arrange collection with the CV Hubs team. Once the returned unit has been inspected and approved, the rebate is credited to the customer’s account.

To help customers understand which units qualify, CV Hubs has produced inspection guides covering Volvo, Renault and DAF wheel hubs. Components showing normal wear, corrosion, dirt or worn ABS rings will typically qualify provided the casting remains structurally sound and free from significant damage.

Simon Blair, Director at CV Hubs & Bearings, commented: “We’ve listened to our customers and this change is a direct response to their feedback. Surcharges have been an industry norm for a long time, but they add friction to what should be a straightforward transaction. By removing that upfront requirement entirely, we’re making it simpler and faster for workshops and fleet operators to get the wheel hubs they need. And with our new core rebate programme, customers can still benefit financially from returning serviceable hubs. It’s a better deal all round.”

Together, these initiatives improve the purchasing experience by removing surcharge administration while still allowing customers to recover value from eligible returned components.

CV Hubs stocks a comprehensive range of wheel hubs, hub kits and related parts for DAF, Volvo, Renault, Mercedes, Scania, MAN and Iveco, with next day delivery available throughout the UK.
