The TV star’s popular Amazon Prime Video series’ fifth series’ release date has been confirmed

Jeremy Clarkson was seen being rushed to hospital in the new trailer for Clarkson’s Farm season 5 as fans prepare for the return of his Amazon Prime Video series.

The former Top Gear host has been seen running his popular Diddly Squat Farm on his latest hit show Clarkson’s Farm since 2021. With the fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm released last, fans are eagerly waiting to see where it goes next.

Series four of the programme faced a big change as Jeremy’s mentor, young farmer Kaleb Cooper, was missing for large portions of the series. This was due to him doing a tour of the UK at the time of filming.

In spite of not getting as much squabbling and bonding between Jeremy and Kaleb as they were used to, the new farmhand, Harriet Cowan, proved to be a big hit with fans. After nearly 12 months of waiting for new episodes, fans got their first glimpse of series five on Monday (May 18).

The new trailer includes the shocking moment when Jeremy had a stent fitted to open up a blocked artery back in 2024. Jeremy underwent the heart procedure due to their being concerns about some of his symptoms, including chest tightness.

Reflecting on his health scare, Jeremy tells Kaleb in the trailer: “You’ve got three arteries in your heart to keep it pumping, my heart was not getting any blood.”

Jeremy went on to admit that his ‘doctor wants him to stop talking’ and that Amazon also wants him to rest his voice. However, a tuberculosis outbreak on the farm meant that Jeremy didn’t get as much rest as he wanted to.

The outbreak of bovine tuberculosis within the farm’s herd occurred last year, with the farm ‘put under restrictions’. In a heartfelt Instagram post last year, Jeremy revealed that the first to have been born on his farm, had to be put down after testing positive for the disease.

Caused by Mycobacterium bovis, the disease requires the immediate slaughter of infected animals to prevent its spread. According to UK government data, more than 21,000 cattle were culled in England between April 2024 and March 2025 due to TB incidents.

It won’t all be doom and gloom on Clarkson’s Farm, with Jeremy tasked with organising the farm’s Christmas grotto. One hilarious moment in the trailer sees Kaleb saying he would prefer to finish ploughing a field before heading to the hospital for the birth of his third child.

Kaleb appears to be more at the centre of things in this series, with him going on his first trip abroad after being asked to study advancements in high-tech farming. Heading to the Netherlands, Kaleb sees how ‘cutting-edge farms seal the deal, and the rise of the machines begins’.

Jeremy previously stated that the programme, which returns on Wednesday, June 3, would be taking a break following its fifth season. The break will also see Jeremy stepping away for time off from all his TV work for the first time in 40 years.

In spite of this, he told The Sun: “We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to (do season six) and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six. I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see.”
