Nudie Jeans opens its doors in Manchester

Nudie Jeans has opened a brand new Nudie Jeans Repair Shop in Manchester.
Located in the heart of the Northern Quarter, this marks the brand’s first UK Repair Shop outside of London.
With the doors now open, Manchester becomes home to more than just denim—it becomes part of a global community built on circular textile, sustainability, and timeless style.
“Investing in physical retail is a natural next step for us. We’re expanding our global presence with several new store openings this year—each one designed to bring our values to life and connect more deeply with our communities,” said Joakim Levin, co-founder & CEO, Nudie Jeans.
In a time when so much of life happens online, Nudie Jeans is doubling down on the value of being present. The brand believes in the power of real-world connection—meeting people face to face, having personal conversations, and creating shared experiences. That’s why live happenings—from music events and panel talks to creative workshops—will be a core part of what this new Manchester space offers.

This new store isn’t just for shopping. Nudie Jeans Repair Shops are community hubs that offer free lifetime repairs, Re-Use jeans, and a 20% discount when customers trade in their pre-loved pair. It’s a place where circular denim, conscious consumption, and culture meet.

“The physical space is essential to what we do. Each store is an extension of our denim kiosk concept—local, personal, small but mighty, and deeply rooted in its environment. We don’t just move in; we adapt, collaborate, and create something that fits the community it serves,” said Martin Gustavsson, CCO of Nudie Jeans.
The brand affectionately refers to its new community as Mancnudians—a playful nod to the city and its proud locals—highlighting the sense of belonging, identity, and creativity that Nudie Jeans hopes to foster in Manchester.

While 2024 has marked record growth online, Nudie Jeans is investing in local retail to help meet its ambitious climate goals. Stores like Manchester’s act as distribution points, cutting down air freight by shipping online orders locally, reducing emissions and environmental impact.

And let’s not forget—fit matters. Finding your forever jeans means trying them on, moving in them, feeling them. This store offers a space where customers can discover their perfect pair in person, reducing returns and promoting conscious choices.
