easyJet announces new route to Paris Orly Airport from Manchester

easyJet has announced a new route from Manchester to Paris Orly Airport with seats on sale today at easyJet.com and via the mobile app from £22.99*.  The new route will take off from 27 March 2023 with departures up to five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

With an already existing route from Manchester to Charles de Gaulle, the new route further strengthens the connection between the North-West and France’s capital providing customers with even more choice, with Paris Orly Airport being a convenient option closer to the south of the city.

From May 2023 an additional Airbus A320neo aircraft will be based in Manchester and will operate throughout the summer season. It becomes the 21st Airbus family easyJet aircraft based at the airport, which now includes a total of six A320neo aircraft.

Compared to the current generation of aircraft, the NEO brings significant improvements in terms of environmental and operational efficiencies: up to 15% less fuel consumption and therefore less CO2 emissions, and 50% less noise during take-off and landing. easyJet is the largest single-brand operator of NEOs in Europe.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager said:

We are delighted to announce a new route from Manchester to Paris Orly Airport today, further strengthening our connection between the North-West and France’s capital and providing our customers with more choice. The addition of the new aircraft at Manchester will also create around 40 local job opportunities and is a symbol of our ongoing commitment to the airport.”

Chris Woodroofe, Managing Director at Manchester Airport, added:

“We are thrilled that easyJet will be launching a service to Paris Orly airport, which is currently unserved from Manchester, adding another destination to our growing route network.

“The commitment to this five-times-weekly service underscores easyJet’s growth and investment in its Manchester base, which is great news for passengers who will benefit from a wider range of options when booking their next trip.”

easyJet serves 19 UK airports, offering over 476 routes to over 133 destinations from the UK to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. To discover more about easyJet’s UK network and to book, visit easyJet.com.
