SLATER HEELIS EXPANDS FAMILY TEAM TO BECOME LARGEST IN MANCHESTER

Leading Manchester-based law firm, Slater Heelis, has bolstered its family division with six key appointments to become the largest family law team in the City.

The rapid expansion of the team coincides with Mark Heptinstall celebrating his 10th anniversary as Head of the Department. The six additions to the family team this year are Vicki McLynn, Heather Broadbent, Faye Bentley, Amy Dawber, Daniel Knox and Kaya Ahmed.

Taking the team’s headcount to 21 qualified solicitors, Mark Heptinstall is feeling buoyant about the future. He said: “Our reputation locally, nationwide and even further afield has seen demand for our services grow significantly, especially over the last few years. The new additions position the department as the largest Manchester based team specialising in financial remedy, cohabitation and private law children work.”

Slater Heelis is about to enter its 250th year in business and Mark has no plans to rest on his laurels, pushing to ensure 2023 is the best year to date for the family team. He added: “Our growth trajectory continues into the new year with an additional two more solicitors coming on board in Q1.

“I’m fiercely proud of how far we have come over the last 10 years to now being the largest team in Manchester. However, this doesn’t detract from putting client service first and looking after our staff both of which remain key to our success.”

We are fortunate that solicitors of the highest calibre are coming to us as the go to employer of choice which is testament to the team, the results we achieve for our clients and what Slater Heelis as a brand stands for in such a competitive sector.

Slater Heelis is a full-service law firm acting for clients across the UK and internationally. The firm offers a range of legal services to both private and business clients including: Construction & Engineering, Corporate Law, Crime (including Business Crime & Regulatory), Dispute Resolution, Employment & HR, Family Law, Personal Injury, Private Client (including Court of Protection services) and Property Law.
