Transform Your Home With Domestic Cleaning Services

A clean home is essential for maintaining a healthy and comfortable living environment. However, cleaning your home can be time-consuming and overwhelming, especially if you have a busy schedule or ample living space.

Fortunately, domestic cleaning services are available to help. Hiring a professional cleaning service allows you to enjoy a fresh start every day without the stress and hassle of maintaining a clean home.

In this article, we’ll explore the benefits of cleaning in Croydon and domestic cleaning services and how they can transform your home into a clean, organized, and comfortable living space.

Why a Clean Home Is Essential

Keeping your home clean is not just about appearances; it can significantly impact your mental and physical health. A clean home can reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and even promote better sleep.

Additionally, living in a dirty and cluttered space can harm your mental health, leading to feelings of overwhelm and helplessness. Furthermore, a clean and organized living space can also improve productivity, making it easier to focus and get things done.

The Benefits of Hiring a Domestic Cleaning Service: More Time and a Deeper Clean

Keeping a clean home is vital for your physical and mental well-being. However, for many people, the demands of work, family, and social obligations can make it challenging to maintain a spotless home.

Fortunately, hiring a professional domestic cleaning service can help. This article will explore the benefits of hiring a domestic cleaning service, including the time it saves and the deeper, more thorough cleaning it provides.

Saving time and energy

Cleaning your home can be a time-consuming and physically demanding task. Depending on the size of your home and the extent of the cleaning required, it can take anywhere from a few hours to an entire day.

This can be particularly challenging for those with busy schedules balancing work, family, and other responsibilities. Hiring a professional cleaning service frees up your time and energy to focus on other activities you enjoy.

Professional quality cleaning

While it may be tempting to do the cleaning yourself, a professional cleaning service can provide a deeper, more thorough cleaning than you could achieve alone. Professional cleaners are trained to use the right tools, techniques, and cleaning products to ensure your home is cleaned to the highest standard.

They also have the expertise to clean hard-to-reach, neglected areas, such as high ceilings, baseboards, and behind furniture. This can help to eliminate dust, dirt, and other allergens that can impact indoor air quality and contribute to health issues.

Improved indoor air quality

For those with allergies or respiratory issues, a clean home can improve indoor air quality and reduce the risk of health issues. Dust, pollen, and other allergens can accumulate quickly in carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces.

Regular cleaning can help to eliminate these allergens and create a healthier living environment. Professional cleaners can also use environmentally friendly cleaning products that are safer for you and your family and do not contribute to air pollution.

How a Domestic Cleaning Service Can Transform Your Home

Beyond the health benefits, a clean and organized home can create a more inviting and comfortable living space. By removing clutter and dirt, a domestic cleaning service can help you create a stress-free and calming atmosphere in your home.

Additionally, a cleaning service can help you organize your living space, making it easier to find what you need and reducing the stress of cluttered areas. With a clean and organized home, you can feel more comfortable and relaxed in your own space.

Choosing the Right Domestic Cleaning Service

When choosing a domestic cleaning service, it’s important to do your research to ensure you hire a reliable and trustworthy provider. Start by looking for companies that have been in business for several years and have a proven track record of providing quality service.

Reading reviews and asking for recommendations from friends and family can also help find the right service provider. In addition, it’s essential to look for a cleaning service that uses environmentally-friendly products.

These products can be better for your health and the environment, making them an excellent choice for those who want to keep their homes clean and green.

Conclusion

A clean home is essential for maintaining a healthy and comfortable living space. By hiring a domestic cleaning service, you can enjoy a fresh start every day without the hassle of maintaining a clean home.

A clean home can have a significant impact on your mental and physical health, and it can also create a more inviting and comfortable living space. When choosing a domestic cleaning service, it’s essential to do your research and select a reliable and trustworthy provider that uses environmentally-friendly products.

With the help of a professional cleaning service, you can transform your home into a clean, organized, and comfortable living space. Don’t wait to experience the benefits of a fresh start every day – hire a domestic cleaning service today.

Global Good Awards 2023 Wanting Entries From Businesses in the North West

In the North West, organisations that are driving social and environmental change are invited to enter the ninth annual Global Good Awards. Open to companies, organisations and individuals who are blazing the trail for purpose-driven sustainability and ethical leadership, the Awards recognise leaders who are achieving practical, real-world impact that is both scalable and replicable – and who have inspiring stories to tell.

The Global Good Awards have a track record of recognising game-changers in the push to tackle climate and social change, with past winners including Y.O.U Underwear, ITV, Toybank, Refuaid, Octopus Energy, Tideway, Hubbub, CapGemini, WWF and Triodos, to name a few. The Awards have also taken great care to ‘walk the talk’ across all areas of sustainability. In 2018, they were the first awards scheme in the world to be accredited as ‘Outstanding’ by the Awards Trust Mark, retaining it every year since. The rating reflected the Global Good Awards’ commitment to running a scheme with the highest standards of ethical behaviour and transparency. Meanwhile, the Awards’ commitments to sustainability include a fully plant-based menu since 2018 and participation in the 1% for Planet and CoolEarth initiatives.

This year Awards’ organisers are making big changes to the way the event is run. In order to become even more sustainable and increase the positive impact of participation, the GGA is doing away with the traditional awards ceremony event and replacing it with a free virtual ceremony for all entrants on 12th July, at which the winners will be announced, and people can learn about the other entrants and their work. This will then be followed by a jam-packed day of purpose-led content happening in person, which will be open to all, with discounted tickets for entrants for 2023.

Karen Sutton, founder of the Global Good Awards said: “We are really shaking things up as we come into our ninth year of the Global Good Awards. We have long felt that the ‘traditional’ way of running awards ceremonies wasn’t best serving the environment or our entrants, so this year we plan to run a virtual event to announce the winners in the summer – saving on travel emissions, costs and people’s time and energy. The Winners’ Showcase: What GOOD looks like in-person event later in the year will include in-depth insight sessions and round table discussions led by winners, judges and industry experts, to give everyone the opportunity to learn how to act faster and hopefully spark new collaborations to accelerate the race to Net Zero. These sessions will also be open for people to join virtually.

“We hope that this new approach, along with our proven track record of recognising the great and the good, will encourage more purposeful organisations from around the world to enter this year’s awards and we look forward to seeing the entries rolling in.”

How to Choose the Right Payment Processing Company for Your Online Business

0

Choosing the right payment processing company is a crucial decision for any online business. With so many options available, it can be overwhelming to decide which provider to go with. In this article, we will explore the key factors you should consider when selecting a payment processing company for your online business

Fees and Rates

One of the most important factors to consider when selecting a payment processing company is the fees and rates they charge. Some providers charge a flat rate per transaction, while others charge a percentage of the transaction amount. You should also look out for additional fees, such as setup fees or monthly fees.

Exactly.com offers a transparent pricing model with no hidden fees, making it easy to calculate costs and budget for your business. Stripe.com also offers a simple pricing structure, with no setup or monthly fees and competitive transaction rates.

Security

Security is another critical factor to consider when choosing a payment processing company. You want to ensure that your customers’ payment information is secure and protected from fraud.

Exactly.com uses advanced fraud detection and encryption technology to keep transactions secure. Stripe.com is also known for its strong security measures, including two-factor authentication and PCI compliance.

Payment Options

It’s important to consider the payment options offered by a payment processing company. Do they support a range of payment methods, such as credit cards, debit cards, and alternative payment methods?

Integrations

When choosing a payment processing company, it’s crucial to ensure that it integrates with your existing business systems and platforms. Look for providers that offer seamless integrations with popular e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce.

Exactly.com offers easy integration with a range of popular e-commerce platforms, as well as custom integration options. Stripe.com also offers integrations with popular e-commerce platforms, as well as a robust API for custom integrations.

By considering these key factors and researching reputable payment processing options, you can make an informed decision that will help your business thrive.

Legislate to Provide Startups and SMEs with Contract Comparison Technology Following $3.6m Fundraising

Legislate, as part of a funding round led by Parkwalk Advisors, have recently raised $3.6m with support from several high profile angel investors and Oxford Capital.

Legislate, using patented knowledge graph technology, are able to provide companies with ontologies of legal terms – allowing anyone in the business to search semantically for information across an entire database of contracts.

Though the company has previously focused on creating a solution for startups and scaleups, Legislate now intends to double down on UK sales and prepare for upcoming 2023 international expansion, thanks to the funds raised.

“For scaling companies, keeping track of terms across hundreds or thousands of contracts is a challenge that creeps up on you. Searching for basic information like contract start and end dates, or nuances in confidentiality terms across entire databases of contracts is painfully manual, or impossible. Before working with us, we know that some of our customers would spend weeks doing this,” said Charles Brecque, Legislate’s founder.

“By allowing companies to create their own ontologies of terms and making them semantically searchable, we enable anyone in that business to search for information in contracts, even if they don’t have a legal background. That’s incredibly powerful for scaling companies where business teams need to review terms across hundreds of contracts quickly to understand exposure to risks,” he continued.

With Legislate’s technology, contracts are first made machine-readable, this subsequently allows all business users to easily compare, create, query, and sign every contract without the need for outside legal involvement.

In 2022 the company announced it had been granted its second US patent for semantic document generation, further enhancing its patented knowledge graph technology ultimately benefiting Legislate’s customers. Customers primarily use Legislate for employment, consultancy, internal contracts, and terms of business agreements.

“We are delighted to have secured additional funding capable of helping us continue to drive innovation in this sector. The grant of our second patent last year has put our technology in an extremely strong position coming into 2023 – we’re making it easier for businesses of all sizes to create and manage complex contracts quickly and in a way that allows them to extract and aggregate data afterwards. We’re looking forward to what we can achieve this year as we focus on our sales capability,” commented Charles Brecque, Founder and CEO of Legislate.

“Legislate has developed a unique solution to simplify contracting for SMEs and mid-market businesses in a way that scales. We’re confident that they are well-positioned to take a significant portion of the market. Their focus on making contracts machine-readable is particularly impressive and we believe it has the potential to be a game-changer in the industry,” commented Claire Pardo from Parkwalk Advisors.

“We are proud to back Charles and the team in their mission to use tech to revolutionise contract creation and management. Investing in Legislate is investing in the future of machine-readable contracts. Their patented Knowledge Graph system sets them apart from other technologies and makes it simple for people without legal training to access contracts created by lawyers and manage them effectively,” commented Stephen Hampson, Investment Director at Oxford Capital.

Considerations for Business Growth: 5 Ways to Reach an International Audience

0

For anyone trying to grow a brand, there is only so much growth to be found without expanding into the international market. The day will inevitably arrive when an international reach strategy becomes necessary, and while there are hundreds of ways to implement this, it is better to have a refined strategy at the start to get the ball rolling.

Connect with International Professionals

If you want to reach an international audience, you should probably be trying to move into the global professional market. By introducing international employees into your business, you automatically increase your reach by opening up access to new languages, insights, and more.

Digital Marketing Strategies: International Link Building

A big part of successfully initiating an International link building campaign is accepting that it has to be a part of a wider digital marketing initiative. Digital marketing efforts with a core focus on content and multi-media engagements will find success wherever they land if they are well researched, thought through, and find their target audience. As far as digital marketing is concerned, link building to reach an international audience is effective, as long as you remain mindful of the technique. So, focus on the wider marketing strategy and interweave the international link agenda into the mix.

Top Tip: Be Mindful of Google’s Policies

Google, arguably the lead search engine and internet mogul, has clear policies on what is and is not acceptable when it comes to link building practices. That means, if you were to go down the purchasing links route for boosting traffic purposes, your tactic would be classed as a violation.

Understand the Economical Climate in the Target Country

If you want to reach an international audience with your presence, products, and services, you have to understand the economical climate. If you put in the research and take time to get to know who you want to make a connection with, you can emphasize better practices in core areas.

Fine-Tune Your Product to Meet Cultural Expectations

Further to this, you can even tailor your products or services to meet the cultural expectations of the intended customer base. There has to be a conversation about whether or not this will suit your international budget, especially if the changes are significant. Small tweaks here and there, for instance, with language choices or image decisions, shouldn’t be too costly if they are offset by a successful engagement.

Have a Way Forward for Language Barrier Issues

Language barriers will always be a thing. While you can rely on online translation services for some basic interaction, it will be more professional and reliable to outsource to a fluent speaker in the target language as well. There are also methods for stepping around having to lean too heavily on spoken language at all, for example, ramping up the visual aids and focusing more on images and video.

Reaching an international audience is a fair goal to have. It opens the door to the potential for a large boost in revenue and an increase in exposure for your brand. This is the main goal, and one worth striving for if you have the tools and expertise to carry it out.

Chancellor Believes UK Will Swerve Recession but Budget Misses the Mark for Small Businesses

Todd Davison, Small business champion and MD of Purbeck Personal Guarantee Insurance, responds to today’s Budget and the updated economic and fiscal forecasts for the next five years from the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR). It was confirmed that inflation will halve by the end of the year and the UK will escape a ‘technical’ recession.

Todd Davison says: ”We were promised a budget for growth aimed at boosting the economy by encouraging investment and removing barriers to people getting into work. That was certainly the focus with a range of initiatives to make it easier for businesses to attract, employ and skill over 50s who have left the workplace, long-term sick and stay at home parents. The Government confirmed there are 328,000 more vacancies now than prior to the pandemic.

“However, we saw very little in the way of financial support for struggling small businesses outside of the 12 Investment Zones announced as part of the Government’s levelling up Agenda. We know that to stay afloat, 42% of small businesses have increased their prices, 31% have cut energy use, 23% have changed or extended their hours while 13% have been searching for new investment[i]. Essentially, the measures announced for small businesses in this budget will require them to spend in order to save[ii].

“It is also disappointing not to have seen additional tax incentives to focus small business investment in green technologies and sustainable investment to encourage employers to pursue outcomes which meet and contribute towards UK Plc.

“Small businesses have needed to find new levels of resilience and new ways to mitigate the risks they face.  That’s part of the reason why we have seen such an upsurge (145% increase on 2021) at Purbeck in the demand for Personal Guarantee Insurance for personal guarantee backed business loans.

“Furthermore, with the rise in corporation tax, the UK may be seen as less attractive than other international locations. The budget was an opportunity for the Chancellor to mitigate this impact as far as possible and provide a corporation tax roadmap over a number of years to help businesses make planning decisions.

“This is a progressive budget in many respects but it falls short of what’s needed to keep the engine room of the U.K. economy oiled and moving.”

How to Build Confidence: A Guide for Business Leaders

0

As a business leader, you come in touch with many people. You will need to attend meetings with other business leaders, talk to suppliers and make connections to expand your network. But most importantly, you will be responsible for the employees who are working hard to make your company more successful and ensure that your clients are happy with the products or services you offer. And if you want to make sure that the workers are satisfied, you need to become a good leader. Depending on your experience or personality type, such a task might seem very daunting. But with a few simple steps, you can boost your self-confidence and strengthen your presence. Here is how business leaders can build their confidence.

Keep Learning About Leadership

If you’re just starting your own company or are looking to take the next step in your career, you might feel insecure about your leadership abilities. The simplest thing you can do to kickstart your education is to learn. Look online to find courses that could help you to understand some of the most common leadership techniques. But if you learn better from printed materials, you might want to explore the wide range of books that talk about leadership. When you start moving further into your education, you should be able to pick up some of the most important skills, frameworks and tools that all good leaders use. The more you learn and start to put your knowledge into practice, the more confident you might become.

Expand Your Network Of Connections

Courses and books might be a great way to dive into the world of leadership. However, nothing teaches you as much as situations and experiences in the real world. And when you first start your leadership journey, you are bound to make mistakes. In such cases, you need to have a strong support network you can turn to for advice. Before you start your journey in practice, start networking with other business leaders. When you develop strong relationships, you might be able to ask them for advice when you face a difficult situation. You might be able to share your struggles with each other and find understanding along the way. And at the same time, you’ll be able to see that you’re not the only one who makes mistakes, and it could help you to increase your confidence in your abilities and journey.

Overcome Your Insecurities

If you want others to respect you and follow your lead, you need to look confident. And to do that, you need to address and overcome your insecurities. If you feel insecure in your own skin, you have an opportunity to do something about it. Try to maintain a healthy diet and be active. That might help you to feel better and become more creative. And if you’re struggling with hair loss and it makes you feel self-conscious, turn to Oxford Online Pharmacy for cost-effective hair loss treatments. You should also work on your posture. Stand tall and show others that you’re not afraid and that you’re confident in your abilities and vision. And when you need to attend meetings or meet someone new, make sure that your handshake is firm. When you look confident, it might be easier for you to make people pay attention to what you have to say.

Be Aware Of Your Strengths And Weaknesses

Self-awareness is one of the most important qualities of strong and successful leaders. To lead your business to the top, you need to know how to delegate tasks to others. Even though it might be tempting, you can’t do all the work on your own. Surround yourself with talented individuals and take advantage of their talents. In order to do that, you need to define your strengths and weaknesses. If you’re not good at marketing or graphic design, leave the task to experts and listen to their reasoning behind the result. And even if you’re a business leader, that doesn’t mean that you need to be good at maths. When there’s anything you struggle with, look for team members who could do it better. In the end, effective task delegating might take your company far and make your business as successful as you’ve always wanted.

Support Others To Become Better

To become more confident in your abilities and business, you need to learn how to support people around you. Despite being the leader, you need to help others to become more skilled and successful. When you help your employees to become better and further their education, they might trust you more and be more open to cooperation. And if you help the workers get better at what they do, you might even increase your company’s profits and prompt your clients to leave better reviews. Find out what your employees would like to learn and sign them up for the courses they need to become more efficient and productive. You could even provide them with some learning materials if that’s what they prefer. It might help them to come up with more unique ideas, and they might offer you a point of view that you haven’t thought of before.

Learn How To Motivate Others

As a business leader, you need to learn how to motivate others. And in order to do that, you need to believe in your business goals and vision. Be confident in your abilities and work hard to get the business where you want it to be in the near and distant future. But to do that, you need to push your employees towards the best performance possible. Provide them with any resources they might need to become more productive and successful. If they do a particular job on a project, acknowledge their hard work and highlight it either in person or in front of others. And to make them feel appreciated, make sure that you talk to them regularly and celebrate even their personal wins. It can make a big difference to the company culture and make you look like a confident leader.

Work On Your Decision-Making Skills

When you lead a company, there will be many occasions when you need to make a decision. Confident leaders make decisions based on their knowledge and experience. Look at the options from every possible angle and make sure that you make the right choice. You shouldn’t ask for permission. While you should discuss decisions with others, you shouldn’t directly depend on their opinion. Instead, look at the problem from their point of view and try to understand it. When you have all the information needed, you can comfortably make the decision.

Conclusion: Ask For Help To Become A Better Leader

Even though you’re the one who is leading the company, it doesn’t mean that you’ll never make mistakes. And even if you have years of experience, there will always be things you can improve about your leadership. If you ever notice that you’re struggling or come to face a problem that you can’t wrap your head around, ask for help. It’s only natural and might help you become a better leader. When you need assistance, ask your business peers for advice. On some occasions, you might even turn to your employees for feedback. By asking for help when needed, you will only appear more confident in your skills.

Over £70,000 Raised for the Salford Foyer at LandAid’s Bigger Ever Sleepout

Every penny raised will go to North West based charity, the Salford Foyer, to support young people between 16-25 years experiencing homelessness in the area.

On Thursday 2nd March, more than 200 property professionals faced the cold overnight at, Sale Rugby Football Club to raise over £70,000.

These funds will support the creation of desperately needed homes for young families (under 25s with children) who are, or who have experienced homelessness. Six brand new high-quality modular units, with enough space for a baby or young child, will be constructed at the Salford Foyer site which is run by Places for People.

Young parents will live in the properties for up to 2-years before moving into more independent living. They will receive support on site, including parenting skills, health and wellbeing, education and training and community involvement.

The Manchester SleepOut is one of 7 locations across the UK that hosted a LandAid SleepOut, as well as the option to get involved virtually, all taking place on the same night. These included Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Glasgow, Leeds, and London.

In total Thursday 2 March saw nearly 1,300 property professionals from across the UK come together to raise over £500,000 to support young people experiencing homelessness. Each region has been raising funds that will support a project local to them.

The LandAid SleepOut has been supported by headline sponsors Knight Frank, alongside regional sponsor Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester, while Sale Rugby Football Club very kindly lent the venue.

The event also received cardboard boxes from Crown Workspace for everyone to sleep on, and Hunter Ops kindly provided the signage required for each venue.

LandAid would like to congratulate those who completed a very challenging night and to give a huge thank you to all those who have helped make this event such a success!

Nicola Keaveney, Salford Foyer Service Manager, said: “We are thrilled at the prospect of providing 6 additional units for young family provision at Salford Foyer.  Salford has seen a rise in families under the age of 25 living in unsuitable accommodation, or at risk of homelessness due to the lack of housing available in the area, which poses a real challenge for the local authority and young people.

“These additional units will give us opportunity to keep families together and offer them a safe place to call home.  We aim to empower these young families to thrive and develop the skills to live independently within the local community. A big thank you to everyone who took part in the LandAid SleepOut, including members of the Salford Foyer Team, to help fund these units.”

Paul Morrish, LandAid’s Chief Executive, said: “A huge thank you to everyone who braved the freezing cold and slept out during the biggest LandAid SleepOut ever. It’s amazing to see the event grow year on year. The support we have received across the country has been incredible with 7 locations, as well as those sleeping out home, coming together for one very important cause.

“While the experience gives everyone a very good idea of how tough sleeping outside is, one night outside does not replicate the true reality of rough sleeping that faces thousands of young people all over the UK. Unfortunately, we know that this number is continuing to grow. With the efforts of hundreds from the property industry, we have raised enough funds to make a real difference by providing safe and secure places for young people who can now focus on building a brighter future, rather than worrying about their night-to-night sleeping spot.”

Addleshaw Goddard said: “Addleshaw Goddard has been a longstanding supporter of LandAid and its work. This year, we decided to endure one night outside at LandAid’s Sleepout on 2nd March 2023. Whilst this is a mere glimpse into the hardship people continue to face, we hope to raise awareness of youth homelessness and support our local community in Greater Manchester.”

If you would like to support, donations are still being accepted for the 2023 SleepOut, which can be made at https://join.landaid.org/event/sleepout-2023/donate
