A Cheshire-based medical aesthetics practice is broadening its clinical offering, prompting a rebrand that reflects its growing focus on patient health, skin conditions and medically led treatments beyond traditional cosmetic procedures.
Dr Ed Robinson has renamed Dr Ed Robinson Aesthetics to Dr Ed Robinson Clinics as the practice continues to develop beyond its original focus on Botox and fillers.
Patients now visit the Hale clinic for a wider range of services, including skin concerns, hair loss, regenerative treatments and men’s health, alongside aesthetic procedures.
Dr Ed said: “When I first started the clinic, the name reflected what we were doing at the time.
“But things have changed a lot since then. We now see patients for their skin, hair loss, regenerative treatments and men’s health, and some patients never have an injectable at all.
“Calling ourselves Dr Ed Robinson Aesthetics doesn’t feel like an accurate reflection of the clinic.”
Dr Ed established the practice in 2022, combining his NHS anaesthesia experience and medical training to build a more clinically focused approach to aesthetics.
Since its launch, the clinic has expanded both its treatment offering and the range of patients it supports.
Dr Ed said: “Aesthetics remains an important part of what we do, but we’re becoming more of a medical clinic.
“For me, it’s about looking at the patient properly, understanding what they actually need and recommending treatment only when it’s appropriate.
“That can mean an aesthetic treatment, but it can also mean helping someone with their skin, hair loss or another health concern.”
The rebrand follows the clinic’s first inspection by the Care Quality Commission, which awarded the service a Good rating overall and across all five areas assessed.
Inspectors highlighted the clinic’s leadership, governance and commitment to continuous improvement.
Dr Ed said: “Receiving a Good CQC rating across every area was a huge milestone for us.
“It showed that the way we run the clinic, assess patients and approach treatment is being recognised at a medical level, and I think the new name reflects that direction much better.”
The announcement comes as the Government sets out plans to strengthen regulation across the aesthetics sector, including proposed restrictions on higher-risk cosmetic procedures and further licensing for treatments such as Botox and fillers.
Dr Ed said: “I think it’s really positive to see the industry moving towards tighter regulation.
“These are medical treatments and they should be treated seriously. For us, that’s always been the approach, so changing the name to Dr Ed Robinson Clinics feels quite fitting.”
The clinic was recently named Medical Aesthetics Clinic of the Year, Cheshire, at the Manchester & North West England Prestige Awards 2026/27.
Dr Ed also received an Outstanding Achievement accolade as Aesthetic Professional of the Year at the 14th English Hair & Beauty Awards 2026 North.
The clinic is also a finalist in two categories at the This is Manchester Awards 2026.
Dr Ed said: “The name is changing, but the principles behind the clinic are exactly the same.
“We’ll continue to put patients first, recommend treatment only when it’s right for them and focus on natural results, safety and good medical care.
“This is a name that better reflects what the clinic has become.”
