Jitterbit expands integration capabilities as Manchester businesses turn to cloud-first operations

Manchester’s business community is undergoing a quiet but significant shift in how companies manage their software and data.

As more firms across the region adopt cloud applications for finance, sales, HR and customer service, a new challenge has emerged: getting all of these disconnected systems to talk to one another. That challenge is exactly what Jitterbit has built its business around, and the company says demand from mid-sized enterprises in the UK, including several in Greater Manchester, has grown sharply over the past year.

Jitterbit provides a cloud-based integration platform that allows businesses to connect applications, automate workflows and move data between systems without heavy custom coding. The approach falls under a category known as iPaas, which stands for Integration Platform as a Service and has become one of the fastest-growing segments of enterprise software as companies juggle an expanding stack of cloud tools.

“Most businesses today aren’t running one or two core systems anymore,” a Jitterbit spokesperson said. “They’re running a CRM, an ERP, marketing automation, e-commerce platforms and various finance tools, often from different vendors. Without a proper integration layer, teams end up manually re-entering data or building fragile point-to-point connections that break the moment something changes upstream.”

For Manchester’s growing base of scale-up and mid-market companies, that fragility carries a real cost. Manual data entry between systems slows down order processing, delays financial reporting and increases the risk of errors reaching customers. Jitterbit’s platform is designed to remove that friction by giving IT teams and, increasingly, business users themselves a way to build and manage integrations through a visual, low-code interface rather than relying entirely on developer resources.

The company has also been investing in AI-assisted integration design, aiming to shorten the time it takes to connect a new application from weeks to days. Jitterbit’s product team says this has been a particular draw for finance and operations leaders in the North West who are under pressure to modernise legacy processes without significantly expanding headcount.

News of Jitterbit’s UK momentum comes as the company confirms an update to its homepage, reflecting its continued push into the European market and a refreshed presentation of its core integration platform and partner ecosystem.

Industry analysts have pointed to iPaas adoption as a defining trend for 2026, with businesses of all sizes looking to consolidate integration spend under a single platform rather than maintaining a patchwork of custom scripts and point solutions. Jitterbit’s growth in the Manchester area is being read by some as a sign that this trend has moved well beyond large enterprises and is now firmly reaching the mid-market.

For businesses evaluating their own integration strategy, Jitterbit has published further detail on how the technology works and where it fits within a broader digital transformation plan, available on its resources hub.

As more Manchester companies pursue cloud-first operating models, the ability to connect systems quickly and reliably is increasingly being treated not as an IT afterthought but as a core piece of business infrastructure.
