Salford’s Foundation 92 announces ‘December to Remember’ campaign

Foundation 92 has announced the return of its popular #DecembertoRemember campaign which is set to be rolled out across Salford and Greater Manchester.

The campaign, now in its fourth year, which will see the charity team – backed by the Class of 92 – deliver more than 2,000 presents in the area to those less fortunate.

Donations are being collected from November 8 until December 2, across a number of strategically placed drop-off points.

B&M is set to donate an array of toys alongside a selection of partners, while Foundation 92 founders will visit families taking part in the drop in December alongside a number of Salford City FC players.

Head of Foundation 92, Tom Hutton said: “Following the success of the previous December to Remember campaign we are really looking forward to being able to support the local community again this year with plans to increase the number of presents we deliver.

“A number of partners have worked with us over the years to support communities within Greater Manchester and we will need their support again to ensure we reach our 2,000 delivery target.

“This initiative is incredibly important to the charity as well as our founders and we are incredibly grateful to our supporters for making this possible again this year.”

Presents will be distributed between December 16 and 19. This will focus on Hulme, Salford, Sale and Little Hulton.

Foundation 92 December to Remember initiative is aimed at families and individuals that may not be able to purchase Christmas presents over the festive period due to facing hardship. They want to ensure every child and family has a present to open on Christmas Day.

Foundation 92 partners on the project include Salford City Football Club, 1st Central, BUPA UK Foundation, Clarion Futures, Kuits, JMW, Transport for Greater Manchester, Tandem Bank, Hotel Football, Network Rail and UA92.

  • Hotel Football, Old Trafford, 99 Sir Matt Busby Way, Stretford, Manchester M16 0SZ
  • UA92 Brian Statham Way, Old Trafford, Stretford, Manchester M16 0PU
