Prolific North to host major Northern Marketing Festival

Prolific North is set to host a major new event series – Northern Marketing Festival – to connect and celebrate the North’s marketing communities.

Hosted across Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle from June 24 – 27, the festival will spotlight regional marketing superstars and provide a platform for brand marketers, agencies, consultancies and marketing-focused leaders to share the latest trends, insights and successes.

Independent search-first marketing agency Embryo is on board as headline partner alongside recently confirmed event partners First Event, Digitaloft, Drummond Central, Jaywing, Powerhouse, Ponderosa, Spark Market Research, Impression, MFuse, McCann Worldgroup, Poke Marketing and Lesniak Swann.

On June 24, the festival will kick off in Newcastle at The Catalyst where marketers will come together, gain valuable insights, and contribute to the growth and innovation of the North East’s marketing ecosystem.

Expect to hear from the likes of Newcastle United and discover more on the club’s strategy towards becoming a world-class brand, plus plenty of other exciting sessions to look forward to across the day.

On June 25, the event heads to Vue Cinema in Leeds to shine a spotlight on Yorkshire’s thriving marketing industries. Expect a fireside chat with Dom Dwight, Strategy & Innovation Director at Betty’s & Taylor’s of Harrogate, a practical guide to digital PR, the role of paid media in your marketing strategy with headline partner Embryo.

Manchester is the final stop of the festival, hosted on Wednesday, June 26 at Manchester Hall. Two jam-packed tracks of content will see the ambitious creative and marketing communities across the North West come together and share ideas about bold campaigns, the latest trends and the marketing mavericks doing things a little differently.

To round off the week in style, Prolific North will be hosting the Prolific North Creative Awards on June 27 at Victoria warehouse in Manchester. Returning for a second year thanks to popular demand, it will celebrate the talented creatives and work from across the North.

Alexandra Balazs, managing director of Prolific North said: “Our audience has often expressed the challenges of traveling to the South for high-profile marketing events, which can be both costly and time-consuming. We believe the North deserves its own platform for showcasing talent and innovation in marketing.

“The response to the Festival has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited to see what the first Northern Marketing Festival will bring. The themes of this event—experimentation and play, creativity through the lens of technology, and growth—have struck a chord with our audience.

“With the rapid advancements in technology, traditional marketing strategies are evolving, and it’s crucial to embrace a mindset of innovation. At the same time, with ROI under more scrutiny than ever, finding the balance between experimentation and budget efficiency is key – so where does that leave experimentation and creativity? We look forward to delving into these vital discussions and more with some of the North’s most iconic brands!”
