Flexible office provider Clockwise signs nearly 1000 sq ft of space to Bolt as part of its business growth plans

Leading flexible workspace provider Clockwise is excited to announce Bolt, European mobility super-app, as the newest company to take space at their Manchester location in Linley House.

As a leader in the flexible office space industry and proving its commitment to empower and scale challenger brands, Clockwise’s partnership will aid Bolt’s business growth as it strives to be the leader in the transportation sector. The partnership was brokered by leading property management company in the North West, Empanada Properties.

As part of the deal, Bolt has secured 800 sq ft of space in Clockwise Manchester, which will help Bolt to show its commitment to providing exceptional services for its customers, whilst maintaining a pleasant welcome space for its drivers.

Bolt’s primary motivation for selecting a larger flexible office was to facilitate an inspiring place to work for employees, create more flexibility and enhance communication with the central team. The new office space at Clockwise provides ample room for face-to-face interactions.

Another key reason for choosing Clockwise as the new office space is flexibility, allowing Bolt’s central team to seamlessly transition between working from home and the office. This adaptable setup ensures maximum productivity and convenience for the team while accommodating the evolving needs of a modern workforce.

Situated in central Manchester on Dickinson Street, just off Portland Street, the Clockwise space offers convenient accessibility for Bolt’s drivers, facilitating easy navigation and minimising access challenges. The availability of nearby parking ensures hassle-free visits, allowing drivers to engage with Bolt’s representatives in person, fostering stronger relationships and addressing any queries more effectively.

Clockwise’s facilities include state-of-the-art meeting rooms for collaboration, phone booths for private calls and communal spaces, which played a significant role in Bolt’s decision. The new space also offers communal areas, including Two Hands Café, and inviting breakout spaces for one-on-one meetings or non-confidential conversations. The abundance of natural light creates a vibrant work atmosphere, promoting productivity and wellbeing among Bolt’s staff.

Alexandra Livesey, Chief Operating Officer of Clockwise, commented:

“We’re thrilled to see Bolt taking desks in our Manchester building, it’s a testament to the dynamic and collaborative environment we strive to foster at Clockwise. We are committed to providing a workspace that attracts innovative companies and facilitates growth. We’re pleased to welcome Bolt, knowing that their presence will inspire further synergies and opportunities for businesses.”

Emily Dalton, Head of Operations (North UK) at Bolt, commented:

“As we continue to increase the amount of passengers and drivers registered with Bolt, as a company we needed a workspace to support this. Clockwise delivers all of the facilities and amenities we need to create a vibrant work atmosphere for our team members. We’re committed to providing an exceptional experience for our drivers and cultivating a dynamic work environment which taking our space in Clockwise now enables us to do.”

Connor Moylan, Managing Director of Empanada Properties, commented:

“I’m so pleased to have placed Bolt with Clockwise, it brings together two companies with similar cultural values, I’m confident this will be a strong partnership.”

By selecting a space that offers flexibility, enhanced driver interactions, excellent facilities, and prime location benefits, Clockwise enhances Bolt’s position to further strengthen its position as a leading transportation platform enabling its growth.

Clockwise Manchester is moving into its second phase of opening after phase one was quickly filled by businesses. Clockwise as a highly desirable product continues to expand its spaces in response to growing demand.
