‘Women Who Rock’ Celebrated by Hard Rock Cafe Manchester With Events, Fundraising and Limited-Time Menu

Hard Rock Cafe Manchester is hosting a myriad of rock n’ roll, female-led events and promotions in honour of International Women’s Month this March.

From all-female bands playing live to limited edition cocktails, it will shine a light on women’s health awareness and champion women in music – raising vital funds for women’s charities along the way.

Throughout March, Hard Rock Cafe Manchester will be home to live music showcasing all female artists and female-led bands:

  • Kim Jennett – 10th March

  • Rockology – 17th March

  • Outfoxed – 24th March

  • Zoe Unsworth band – 31st March

Whilst rocking to the live music, visitors can also enjoy special limited edition cocktails:

  • Cause-Mo – Tito’s vodka, Cointreau, lime and cranberry juices, shaken and served chilled

  • Rock N’ Rose – Spritz – A bright and refreshing spritz, St-Germain Elderflower liqueur, Da Luca Prosecco DOC Rose, soda water and mint leaves

  • Strawberry Basil Lemonade – A refreshing lemonade muddled with fresh strawberries and basil.

Visit the Rock Shop while you’re there to pick up a limited edition Rock Women’s Health T-shirt, on sale from 1st March – 15th April.  All proceeds will go to the Magee-Women’s Research Institute, which is dedicated to women’s health and reproductive biology – from woman-controlled HIV protection to therapies that could prevent the recurrence of ovarian cancer.

Aneta Jarzmik, General Manager at Hard Rock Cafe Manchester, commented: “Empowered women empower the world. As we celebrate International Women’s Month, we are proud to honour the achievement and contributions of women around the world. At Hard Rock, we believe that diversity and inclusion are essential to our success, and we are committed to creating a culture where women can thrive. We celebrate the strength, resilience, and innovation of women, and we will continue to work towards a world where all women have the opportunity to reach their full potential.”

To mark the month-long celebration, Hard Rock Heals Foundation is committing to “Rock Women’s Health” this March in partnership with multi-platinum recording artist and actress, Jordin Sparks, and fellow champion of women, Women Who Rock (WWR).

While International Women’s Day is March 8 and March is Women’s History Month, Hard Rock’s celebration – dubbed ‘International Women’s Month’ – aims to empower women and raise awareness for women’s health all month long.
