Consensus Appointed to Fit Out Industrials Reit’s New Northern HQ

Consensus Workspace has been appointed to undertake the interior fit-out of Industrials REIT’s new northern headquarters.

The UK multi-let industrial property company has acquired a 4,300 sq ft office in No 2, Stockport Exchange and Consensus will deliver a highly sustainable, flexible workspace suitable for up to 60 employees, mirroring the design principles of Industrials REIT’s Great Portland Street office in London.

“We were very impressed with Consensus’ vision for the fit out, which will result in a modern, flexible and imaginative space, with health and wellbeing at its centre. No 2 Stockport Exchange is the ideal location for our expanding team in the region, and our new office will provide the optimal platform to deliver on our growth ambitions,” commented Julian Carey, Managing Director at Industrials REIT.

Andy Plastow, Director at Altrincham-based Consensus, added: “The fit out involves flooring works, new partitions and IT infrastructure to create private offices and meeting rooms, but will also encourage collaborative working through larger open plan areas, kitchens and dining zones. We are creating a design which will reflect Industrial REIT’s London office in terms of brand synergy and will have a focus on sustainable materials and natural light, creating a welcoming, healthy place of work for the whole team.”
