RSM appoints new real estate and construction head in the North West

Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has appointed Peter Graham as its head of real estate and construction in the North West.

Peter Graham has over 20 years’ experience advising real estate and construction businesses and is a tax partner who leads RSM’s capital allowance team, which he established ten years ago, with a strong focus on real estate clients.

Peter succeeds Ian Taylor, who having led the region’s real estate and construction sector for six years, remains a senior partner in the North West, acting for an established portfolio of high profile clients. Prior to his appointment, Peter has worked closely with Ian as a key member of the North West’s real estate and construction team.

In his new role, Peter will work alongside national sector heads Kelly Boorman and Stacy Eden, to support the firm’s real estate and construction clients, in particular growing the firm’s portfolio in the North West.

Stacy Eden, partner and national head of real estate and construction at RSM, said: ‘I am delighted that Peter, an experienced real estate and construction partner, is leading the team in the North West. I know that Peter will continue to grow and support one of RSM’s key sectors which has thrived in the North West in recent years due to the fantastic efforts of the previous regional sector lead Ian Taylor, supported by Peter and the wider local team.’

Commenting on his new role, Peter Graham added: ‘I am really looking forward to continuing the excellent work that Ian has done as regional lead for real estate and construction, helping our team and clients to thrive and grow. Property has always been a passion of mine and it is a real pleasure working with clients in this sector.’

Kevin Duffy, RSM’s regional managing partner in the North West, said: ‘Real estate and construction is a key market for RSM in the North West. I am delighted to welcome Peter Graham as our new regional head of the team and I would also like to thank Ian Taylor for his brilliant contribution and leadership in the role.’
