McGinty Demack achieves prestigious Platinum Approved Employer status

Standish accountancy practice, McGinty Demack, has achieved Approved Employer status from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The award was given to McGinty Demack in recognition of the support they provided to ACCA trainees working towards their ACCA qualification at the practice. Receiving the highest level of accreditation, Platinum, the firm will continue to welcome local students hoping to begin their career in accountancy.

The ACCA Approved Employer programme recognises and rewards employers’ quality staff training and development. The programme ensures the highest standards for employers and students are met and maintained.

Karen Richardson, Managing Director, McGinty Demack, said: “Everyone at McGinty Demack understands the importance of receiving good training, that’s why we do our best to ensure that the trainees we welcome receive the support they need to become a fully qualified accountant.

“We are delighted to be awarded the prestigious Platinum Approved Employer accreditation from the ACCA, since this exemplifies the hard work and support we put into developing our trainees and the excellent results they attain whilst working with us, are testament to the processes and engagement we provide.”

One of the firm’s ACCA trainees who went on to a full-time position at McGinty Demack was Alice O’Hanlon. She commented: “Undertaking my training here was instrumental in achieving my ACCA qualification. The help and knowledge I received from Karen and the rest of the team helped me better understand my assignments.

“I was delighted to be offered a full-time role at McGinty Demack after achieving my qualification and would urge anybody in the Standish area who is hoping to become an accountant to get in contact.”
