Korean Pavilion to Highlight Cutting-Edge Agro-Food Products at SIAL Paris 2024

The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation invites visitors to explore 76 innovative and eco-friendly Korean food brands at SIAL Paris 2024, the world’s premier food innovation exhibition, as it celebrates its 60th anniversary.

Taking place from 19th to 23rd October 2024 at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte, the Korean Pavilion, organised by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), will feature 76 leading Korean companies. These businesses will showcase a diverse range of agricultural and food products designed to appeal to global buyers seeking healthy, innovative solutions.

Located in Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), the Pavilion will display a rich variety of Korean food products, including traditional favourites and modern innovations. Attendees can explore items such as fermented sauces, Kimchi, noodles, ready meals, drinks, Ginseng, and plant-based vegan products, all catering to the increasing global demand for sustainable and eco-friendly foods.

Korean Food Gaining Popularity in Europe

Korean cuisine has become increasingly popular in Europe due to its unique combination of health benefits and vibrant flavours. Major retailers such as Carrefour and Monoprix have begun stocking Korean products, and the SIAL Paris event offers a prime opportunity to further expand this growing trend. Visitors can engage directly with producers, taste the products, and build important business connections.

With its focus on health and sustainability, Korean cuisine aligns perfectly with the rising demand for plant-based diets across Europe. Korean food’s versatility has been embraced by chefs throughout the continent, contributing to its increasing popularity beyond just Kimchi.

Showcasing the Diversity of Korean Food Products

Ms. Nam Sanghui, Director of aT Center Paris, remarked: “We are excited to reflect the true diversity of Korean products in SIAL Paris 2024. Our goal is to engage with those searching for innovative, health-conscious food options, and the Pavilion is the perfect place to discover the latest trends in Korean cuisine.”

Marking its 60th year, SIAL Paris is the world’s leading food innovation exhibition, attracting over 285,000 visitors from 200 countries. With 70% of attendees expected to come from outside France, the event offers Korean companies a valuable platform to present their products to a global audience.
