Tonic App Honored by Google Play in Europe’s #WeArePlay Campaign

Tonic App, the mobile-first platform designed to streamline clinical practice for physicians, has been recognised by Google Play as one of the 126 European applications featured in the #WeArePlay campaign. Among nearly two million existing apps worldwide, Tonic App stands out for its purpose-driven mission to simplify healthcare professionals’ day-to-day activities.

As part of the #WeArePlay campaign, Google Play aims to showcase the stories and missions of European applications available for download on its platform. Tonic App is one of the five apps distinguished in the medical category, emphasising its significant impact on the healthcare industry. The campaign has been actively disseminated through various Google Play channels, including a gathering of the selected companies at the Annual I/O Conference in Amsterdam.

Tonic App has continuously focused on helping doctors become more productive, providing an ever-expanding array of content and tools. Recently, the platform integrated an AI-powered virtual assistant that supports physicians in various tasks, such as knowledge retrieval, summarising clinical records and scientific articles, preparing health information for patients, and writing patient referral letters and medical certificates.

Daniela Seixas, founder and executive director of Tonic App, expressed her team’s pride in this recognition and the platform’s growth over the past seven years. She emphasised the significance of the acknowledgement from Google Play, which boosts both the credibility and visibility of Tonic App.

Matthew Durham, Director, Global Media, CMI Media Group, also commended Tonic App as an excellent tool for healthcare professionals in Europe and a vital partner for their European HCP media campaigns.

Tonic App’s success lies in its role as a comprehensive platform for physicians, bringing together knowledge, tools for clinical decision-making, educational content, video consultations, job opportunities, and other valuable resources for professionals’ daily lives. As the fastest growing medical platform in Europe, Tonic App continues to make a difference in the lives of healthcare professionals across the continent.
