Yeni Raki Brings Its Unique Flavours and Cocktails to the UK Market

Yeni Raki, the renowned raki brand with a history of 500 years, is set to make its debut in the UK with a new campaign titled “It’s Time.” Known as the world’s most well-known and widely sold raki brand, Yeni Raki 1937 offers expertly crafted grape spirits with a British twist, now available on Amazon. To celebrate its launch, Yeni Raki is introducing a range of signature cocktails and partnering with Hovarda for London’s Cocktails in the City event and afterparties featuring renowned DJs. Visitors can also win exciting prizes at the Yeni Raki stand and enjoy complimentary raki and mezze tastings.

Yeni Raki 1937 is an aniseed-flavoured grape alcohol with a rich history and a distinct liquorice taste. Unlike sambuca, it is expertly distilled from carefully selected grapes and raisins to produce suma, which is then redistilled with aniseed to create raki. Drinking raki is a symbol of sharing, connecting, love, and friendship, bringing people together in celebration or conversation.

The UK market can now experience the unique flavours of raki through Yeni Raki’s brand refresh and a lineup of raki-infused cocktails. As part of its launch campaign, Yeni Raki will collaborate with various hospitality brands across the summer, starting with Hovarda for London’s renowned Cocktails in the City event. From 6th to 8th July 2023, leading hospitality outlets and spirits brands will compete for the title of the best cocktail and bar at this prestigious event.

Yeni Raki’s three signature cocktails, including the “Raki Elixir” with pear and vanilla, the refreshing “Basil Sour Dem” with cucumber and basil, and the sweet and spicy “Chili Strawberry Infusion,” will be featured at the event. For those abstaining from alcohol, the equally delicious “Chili Strawberry Infusion Virgin” mocktail will be available. Guests can spin the ‘Spirit to Win It’ wheel for a chance to win exclusive prizes with each Yeni Raki signature cocktail enjoyed. They can also leave a review on the Blade app to receive a complimentary cocktail at Hovarda.

For those looking to explore the rich history of Yeni Raki, complimentary raki and mezze tastings will be offered hourly. These tastings will provide a culinary journey through Yeni Raki’s heritage, accompanied by perfect food pairings. Additionally, the afterparties at Hovarda will feature renowned DJs, including DJ Viton, DJ Derun, and Maia, ensuring a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.

Yeni Raki aims to educate the UK market about raki, promoting the message that connection knows no borders, taste is universal, and experiences are everlasting. With a focus on food as a cultural ambassador and a source of exploration and connection, Yeni Raki is set to shake up the summer with its unique flavours and cocktails. Cocktails in the City is just the beginning, as Yeni Raki has exciting collaborations and events planned for the summer.
