You only need a bucket, sponge, jet wash and a wonderful personality to win customers over. Go from one house to another and offer to wash their car for a price. You start by providing this service in your local neighbourhood.
  2. Become a Gardener: if you have gardening skills, it is time to put them to use and make some money. There are so many ways you can make money as a gardener- you can sell cut flowers to florist’s shops or farmers’ markets, sell flower seedlings, offer gardening services to people who do not enjoy gardening, etc. All you need to start is a lawnmower, shears and other basic gardening tools. You can go from house to house, especially houses with gardens that need help.
  3. Start a Business on eBay: you can make money easily just by selling the junk in your garage. Selling your old items on eBay is a great way to get rid of items you no longer need while still making some money. You can start by visiting houses in your neighbourhood and offering to clean their windows for a price. To excel as a window cleaner, you must also excel at sales and customer service.

Work as a Freelancer: you can make money online by working as a freelancer offering services such as writing, interpreting, designing, virtual assistant, etc. There are many online platforms that allow you to earn money by providing services, such as Fiverr, Upwork, and Freelancer.com. All you need to get started is a phone or a computer and a connection to the internet.
  8. Become a Service Outsourcer:  even if you can’t provide any service, you probably know someone who can. For example, you meet someone who wants to design a website, but you can’t do it. If you know someone who can do it, you can charge the client a fee, outsource to someone who can pay them, and keep the profit. You can also outsource to freelancers to do the job.
  9.  Start a Catering/Food Business from Home: starting a catering or food business from home doesn’t require as much investment as a restaurant. The food industry is the largest in the United Kingdom and one of the most lucrative industries. If you have excellent cooking skills and love cooking, starting a catering business is a great way to start making money. You can start with baking cakes, biscuits, and other pastries with long shelf lives. All you will have to spend money on is the ingredients.
  10. Start a Cleaning Business: there will always be demand for cleaning services. Now that there is a general shortage of cleaners in the United Kingdom, you can easily make money cleaning. Cleaners in the United Kingdom make up to £18 – £20 per hour. You can earn money by cleaning homes and commercial premises.
