NEW EMPLOYMENT PARTNER AT CLARKE WILLMOTT IN MANCHESTER

Experienced employment lawyer Louise Rogers has joined national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP as a partner in its Manchester office.

Louise acts for employers and senior executives on an array of employment issues, with particular specialisms in the banking and financial services, technology and media sectors. She joins Clarke Willmott after ten years at a commercial firm in London.

Louise has particular expertise in dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims and is also experienced in breach of contract disputes involving bonus/commission arrangements, confidentiality and post-termination restrictions.

She frequently advises on negotiated exits and severance packages (often high value and with a corporate aspect such as statutory appointments and shareholdings), the management of senior executive and board departures and team moves.

Louise provides clients and HR professionals with day-to-day strategic advice and support in relation to all employment queries from contract negotiations and recruitment through to the implementation of workplace policies, complex grievances procedures and performance management and/or disciplinary issues.

She also handles bespoke employment documentation including director service agreements and consultancy arrangements and is skilled at advising in relation to restructuring, redundancy consultation and TUPE.

Marc Long, partner and head of the employment team at Clarke Willmott, added: “We are very pleased that Louise has joined us. As well as helping us build our employment offering in Manchester, Louise will play an important role in helping us to continue to grow our employment team nationally.”

Clarke Willmott is a national law firm with offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton, and Taunton.
