Love Energy Savings’ finance team wins prestigious award

Greater Manchester-based company Love Energy Savings has been honoured with the Team of the Year prize at the Finance Awards North West.

The prestigious awards celebrate excellence in the finance industry and acknowledge teams and businesses that have showcased outstanding performance and success over the past year.

This accolade comes after a significant transformation of Bolton-based Love Energy Savings’ 11-strong finance department, led by the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Clair Scott.

Under her guidance, the team has implemented substantial commercial and financial improvements, contributing to the company’s growth and expanded capabilities.

The finance team plays a vital role within Love Energy Savings, which employs over 200 professionals dedicated to assisting businesses in tackling the challenges of rising energy costs through the company’s proprietary technology.

CEO Phil Foster said: “It’s a fantastic feeling to see my team get the recognition they deserve after such a brilliant year.

“In what has been one of the trickiest years in recent memory for the energy sector, the team has gone above and beyond to support the entire business.

“They’ve adapted and overhauled the way we think about finance at Love Energy Savings, driven incredible results and helped to lay the foundations for future success.

“For us, the main focus now is on expanding what we’re offering with new services to give our customers a one stop shop for business utilities. It’s a complex task, but knowing we’re doing it with the backing of an award-winning finance team is a huge plus.”

Chief Financial Officer Clair Scott said: “I’m absolutely delighted that the team has been crowned North West Team of the Year.

“It has been an incredibly tough few years, especially in our sector, and what they have achieved the past 18 months is nothing short of phenomenal.

“They dug deep and through sheer grit and determination helped me deliver transformational change here.

“I’m just so pleased that they got the public recognition they deserved at such a fantastic awards night. I’m tremendously proud and look forward to the next 18 months and see what we can achieve together.”
