Edwards Lifesciences Launches European Promotional Bus Tour to Educate Surgeons

Edwards Lifesciences, a renowned medical technology company, has embarked on an educational journey across Europe with a promotional bus tour aimed at training surgeons on the latest techniques and products in heart-valve surgery.

To facilitate this unique initiative, Edwards Lifesciences has partnered with Roadshow Promotions, a specialist in customized vehicle conversions and promotional tours. Together, they have transformed a bus into a cutting-edge training facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and educational materials. The single-decker event buses will travel to hospitals across Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, and the Netherlands, offering hands-on training to surgeons and medical professionals in the field of heart-valve surgery.

This European tour reflects Edwards Lifesciences’ ongoing dedication to innovation and education within the cardiovascular medicine domain. By educating and training hundreds of surgeons, the company aims to provide less invasive surgical options for critically ill patients, ultimately helping them live longer, healthier, and more productive lives.

Roadshow Promotions played a crucial role in creating an immersive on-board showcase of the latest products and techniques. Their expertise in vehicle conversions and promotional bus tours allowed them to design and build a unique mobile training facility, enabling Edwards Lifesciences to reach a wider audience and provide valuable hands-on training to medical professionals.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Roadshow Promotions collaborated closely with Edwards Lifesciences to plan the multi-country tour and develop the training facilities on wheels. The buses feature various training stations, including a fully equipped operating room and a demonstration area for product displays and presentations.

Natasha Greenley, Director of Roadshow Promotions, expressed pride in being chosen by Edwards Lifesciences to showcase their cutting-edge products. She highlighted the close collaboration between the two teams, ensuring that the buses offer a unique and immersive training experience for medical professionals.

The promotional bus tour is just one of the many initiatives undertaken by Edwards Lifesciences to support the training and development of medical professionals in the field of cardiovascular medicine. The company remains committed to advancing the field through research, education, and innovation, continuously maintaining its position at the forefront of cardiovascular medical technology.
