Indie Ridge and Passle partner to revolutionise legal website offering for small to medium-sized law firms

Indie Ridge, a digital agency specialising in the development of high-performance JamStack websites, has partnered with Passle content marketing platform used by global law firms such as Reed Smith and Linklaters, to help small to medium-sized law firms revolutionise their legal websites.

Over the last few years as a result of a period of significant regeneration and investment, Manchester has reinvented itself to become the country’s second largest legal hub after London and is set to benefit from this new partnership.

The partnership will see Indie Ridge integrate Passle with the best-in-class website architecture called JamStack, used by firms such as Amazon, Nike, Sony and Tesla. As a result, legal firms will be able to benefit from lightning-fast web page speed making them more visible on Google and offering the ability to showcase their firm creatively and vividly without the limitations of traditional websites.

Passle is a suite of easy-to-use tools to write, publish and share insights to the market. These tools remove all the difficulty of publishing content, helping the average professional create 16x more insights. In the first two months of using Passle, Forsters received 5,000+ more website visitors, Howard Kennedy had 3,500 shares on social media and Colligan Law saw a 4,300% increase in LinkedIn Traffic.

Legal sector behind the times

The legal sector is notoriously behind when it comes to its digital offering. In a recent survey of the top 100 law firms, only one had ‘excellent’ website speed on mobiles, while 66% had poor loading speed, a major impediment on how much visibility they get on Google.

In a 2022 Bellwether report, it was found that for 33% of law firms web development is high on the agenda and 36% of law firms say they plan to increase their investments in tech in the near future. Yet when Bellwether asked law firms what was stopping them from implementation, the most prominent reasons were the lack of time (52%), technical expertise (46%), understanding (36%), and budget (35%).

Indie Ridge’s Co- Founder, Mike Chapman, says: “The battle for law firms is more significant than getting found online: it’s a battle to differentiate from the competition, retain clients, attract new talent and somehow increase client referrals, all while managing a heavy workload.

“Unfortunately, too many legal websites contain generic content and all look similar, we want to help law firms avoid falling into this trap.

“Through this unique partnership we will bring Passle-powered websites to small to medium-sized businesses. The content focused websites are design-rich and super fast to navigate, giving a highly credible online presence.”

James Barclay, CEO, Passle Inc adds: “We are delighted to welcome Indie Ridge to our partner programme. Their expertise in JamStack brings another technology approach to the Passle community providing flexibility, speed of implementation and speed of execution in website projects.”
