MANCHESTER PA AWARDS RETURNS TO THE CITY

Now in its sixth year, the Manchester PA Awards returned last night with a black-tie awards ceremony that recognised the incredible talent within the Manchester PA community.

After a three-year break, the awards were welcomed back by over 550 guests from Manchester’s business community at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford.

The not-for-profit awards, organised by the Manchester PA Network and event partner the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC), were hosted by Strictly Come Dancing judge, TV presenter and professional dancer, Anton Du Beke. The night also featured Take That superstar and international DJ, Howard Donald, who performed an exclusive late-night DJ set.

Judged by industry experts with representatives from Kameno, AO Arena, Corporate Traveller and Search Consultancy, the winners chosen exceeded expectations and exemplified hard work, passion, professionalism, and dedication within their roles.

Amanda Hargreaves, co-founder of the Manchester PA Network said, “We were absolutely thrilled to be able to bring the Manchester Awards back this year. To bring our fabulous community together once again and see how much it means to our winners is wonderful.”

Warren Middleton, Manchester Office Senior Partner, KPMG in the UK said “KPMG recognise that business would not work without the amazing PA community across our clients and our own business.  This amazing group of people make business work, and we are delighted to sponsor this event aimed at celebrating the hard work undertaken by all the teams across Manchester and the North West”.

As always, the event had a serious side to support the ongoing fundraising efforts of the Manchester PA Network and raised £7,600 for The Christie Charity.

For the first time since it launched, the awards also recognised PAs and EAs outside of the city with the introduction of a National PA of the Year Award.  This was won by Tracy Whitehouse of Orbit Homes.
