Reeds Solicitors secures position in The Times Best Law Firms list

Leading national law firm with a strong presence in Manchester, Reeds Solicitors LLP (Reeds), has secured a position in the latest list of The Times Best Law Firms.

Published today, The Times Best Law Firms is in its fifth year running.  Compiled by The Times newspaper and the independent market-research company Statista, the list identifies the leading 250 law firms in England & Wales and the leading 20 firms in Scotland.

The award-winning criminal defence and multi-disciplinary law firm prides itself as providing a high-quality service, tailored to the unique circumstances of each client. Each local office has been moulded to the needs of the community it serves.  The leading practice has been shortlisted for a number of awards including Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year and Lexis Nexis’ Wellbeing awards; and has been recognised yet again for the quality of its services with a listing in the Legal 500 as a Top Tier Criminal Defence practice.

Commenting on the listings Reeds’ managing partner, Jan Matthews said:

“Despite the turmoil in the legal industry, ongoing political upheaval, and economic uncertainty affecting the UK, we are proud to continue to be recognised for our expansion and fantastic work in serving our local communities.  Never has it been more important to do so than today with the current cost of living crisis.

To be recognised as one of the UK’s leading firms is quite the achievement particularly as we continue to offer legal aid across a number of our areas of law, despite the lack of funding across the board.  The long-standing underinvestment of the criminal justice system makes us even more determined to continue to provide these much-needed services.  To ensure we are in a position to provide help no matter what our clients’ circumstances, we plan to continue our national expansion with both bespoke privately funded and legal aid services across England and Wales.”
