Work begins at Ashton-in-Makerfield development

Groundworks have commenced at a new residential development off Wigan Road in Ashton-in-Makerfield.

Previously owned by Standish Estates, the 13.47 acre site will be transformed by Bellway into an attractive development of 157 high quality three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached new build homes that will be known as The Avenue.  Complementing the new homes and creating a beautiful new living environment for residents will be pockets of attractively landscaped open green space for all to enjoy.

A select number of different house types will be available at The Avenue, all of which feature well planned layouts that make maximum use of light and space and have been designed with modern living in mind.  As with all new homes from Bellway, properties will also benefit from open plan fitted kitchens, contemporary family bathrooms and en suites to the master bedroom.

Sales director at Bellway Homes, Hollie Reynolds, commented: “We are delighted to announce our plans for The Avenue and are looking forward to introducing our high quality new build homes to homebuyers in Ashton-in-Makerfield and the surrounding areas.  Located in a superb position, the development is close to the M6 and A580 for commuters and a just short drive from the popular towns of Wigan and Leigh with their shops, bars, restaurants and other services.”
