Lecturers close in Bolton is fully let

GVA has let the last remaining unit 5,419 sq ft at Lecturers Close Industrial Estate in Bolton to Volkswagen Inchape.

The car manufacturer will be opening a regional parts centre at popular scheme close to Bolton town centre.

The rental achieved was £5.50psf and has been taken on 10-year lease with a break at year five.

Ruth Leighton of GVA said: “The estate has proven to be very successful.

“We have pushed the rents significantly and this is a reflection of a significant lack of good quality well located stock versus an increase in demand.

“Lecturers Close Industrial Estate serves a wide variety of occupiers including national trade counters. The take up of vacant space within the estate over the last six months is circa 35,000 sq ft combining four units.”
