Lease Options Mastery Restarts In-Person Property Training Following Six-Month Break

LIVERPOOL, UK, October 8, 2026: Lease Options Mastery, the property education academy founded by UK property entrepreneur and investor Nicky Greer, has brought its live training programme back following a break of more than six months. The return comes as interest continues in alternative approaches to property investment, particularly among aspiring investors looking for ways to enter the market without relying solely on traditional purchasing methods.

The academy held its first in-person event since the hiatus in Heathrow, London, in September, with another session planned for October. A further three-day bootcamp is scheduled to take place in Liverpool later this year, marking the organisation’s first training event in the North of England in nearly two years.

Live events were temporarily paused amid uncertainty within sections of the property market and broader geopolitical developments, prompting a reassessment of the organisation’s schedule. The resumption of in-person sessions reflects a renewed emphasis on practical property education for people exploring alternative routes into investment.

Founded by Greer, Lease Options Mastery teaches aspiring investors how lease option agreements work. These arrangements can allow an investor to secure contractual control of a property before completing a purchase, offering a different approach from conventional investment strategies that often depend on significant deposits and mortgage finance.

The academy’s three-day bootcamps cover essential areas of the process, from identifying motivated sellers and finding off-market properties to understanding lease option agreements in accessible language and recognising common pitfalls faced by newcomers.

Greer said: “We are pleased to be returning to in-person events and giving people the opportunity to learn and connect over the course of a three-day programme. There remains significant interest in alternative property strategies, particularly from those who may have been excluded by some of the traditional barriers to entry.”

Alongside its live events, the academy has strengthened its property sourcing network through a new agreement intended to provide access to investment opportunities priced below prevailing market values. The company says the arrangement will complement its educational offering and give members additional routes to explore potential deals.

Monthly online training sessions will continue for participants who cannot attend events in person, ensuring that remote learners retain access to regular education and support.

International growth is also under consideration. During the past year, Greer has reviewed several overseas markets, with Florida emerging as a potential area for expansion following the exploration of opportunities beyond the Middle East.

“We see potential for the lease option model in a number of overseas markets, and Florida is one area we will continue to explore. It represents an interesting opportunity as we develop our international presence,” Greer said.

In the UK, Greer has also expressed support for recent government reforms concerning Empty Dwelling Management Orders (EDMOs). The changes are expected to shorten the period a property must remain vacant before a local authority can intervene, helping councils address long-term empty homes sooner.

EDMOs enable councils to take over the management of vacant residential properties and bring them back into use without transferring ownership away from the property owner. Advocates believe the reforms could help increase available housing, improve neighbourhoods and tackle persistent problems associated with unoccupied homes.

Greer said: “Reducing the qualifying period for EDMOs from two years to six months has the potential to unlock significant housing stock that would otherwise remain unused. For property investors and local authorities alike, it creates opportunities to bring empty homes back into productive use while helping address local housing demand. It is an area we expect to become increasingly important over the next 12 months.”

In light of the reforms, Lease Options Mastery has revised parts of its training programme to cover EDMOs and explain how property investors may contribute to bringing unused residential properties back to the market.

As its nationwide events programme resumes, the academy continues to prioritise practical learning, awareness of market developments and emerging opportunities in the UK and overseas. With more events planned, it expects to engage with individuals seeking alternative ways to pursue property investment in a challenging housing environment.
