Acquisition of Leeds and Manchester Taxi Firms by Book Technologies Inc.

Book Technologies Inc. has finalised the purchase of Leeds Taxi Group Limited and Manchester Taxi Group Limited, marking a significant step in its market consolidation efforts. Cash Haleem, the company’s founder, has stated the intention for both companies to operate under the umbrella of Taxi Group Ltd., yet ownership will transition to Book Technologies Inc.

Under the leadership of CEO and Founder Cash Haleem, Taxi Group Ltd., a notable name in the transport sector, brought Leeds Taxi Group Limited and Manchester Taxi Group Limited into the fold of Book Technologies Inc. in March 2024. This strategic move is aimed at facilitating the company’s growth on both a domestic and international scale with the backing of Book Technologies Inc.

Global Expansion Plans

Taxi Group Ltd. is actively pursuing opportunities to broaden its service footprint to include several countries: Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Africa, Singapore, and the Netherlands. The company is set to disclose its expansion plans for 2024, which will align with a comprehensive hiring initiative within the UK and abroad.

Localised Headquarters

Leeds Taxi Group Limited and Manchester Taxi Group Limited are strategically based in Leeds and Manchester, respectively. This local focus ensures the delivery of customised, efficient services that cater to the specific needs of each city’s populace and visitors.

Innovations in Mobile Technology and Communication

In an effort to modernise urban transportation, both Leeds and Manchester will benefit from new mobile applications and city-specific call lines in 2024. These advancements are designed to enhance the convenience and accessibility of transport services for locals and tourists alike.

Commitment to Diverse Recruitment

A strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion characterises the recruitment philosophy of Leeds Taxi Group Limited and Manchester Taxi Group Limited. The companies value diversity in gender, ethnicity, and cultural background, reflecting Taxi Group’s dedication to creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace.

Addressing the cost of living challenge in the UK, Taxi Group Ltd. plans to implement a Living Wage scheme, transitioning away from the conventional commission-based pay model. This initiative is intended to provide equitable pay to drivers, acknowledging their financial struggles.

Broadening Driver Opportunities

Taxi Group Ltd. is committed to introducing new avenues for drivers to increase their earnings, thereby enhancing their financial wellbeing and career prospects throughout the UK.

Future Oriented Leadership

Under Cash Haleem’s guidance, Taxi Group Ltd. is focused on expanding its service offerings to improve the experiences of both drivers and passengers. The goal is to establish new standards in transportation, offering superior services that meet the evolving demands of the market.
