City were today pitted against the Danes in the last 16 in a draw that will quietly please boss Pep Guardiola.
Copenhagen do have form against Manchester clubs this season, however, having emerged from a group containing Manchester United to secure their place in the tournament after Christmas.

United won the home game 1-0 but went down 4-3 in the Danish capital after squandering a 2-0 lead following Marcus Rashford’s sending off.
Elsewhere, Premier League leaders Arsenal take on Porto and will also fancy their chances of reaching the quarter-finals.
The format in which group winners play second-placed finishers meant most of the big boys were kept apart with arguably the pick of the ties seeing Italian champions Napoli taking on struggling Barcelona.
Another spicy clash sees Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone take on one of his former clubs, Inter.
