Tiger Woods: How to watch his return at the Hero World Challenge

Tiger Woods makes his long-awaited return to the PGA Tour this week when he tees it up at the Hero World Challenge.

The 15-time major winner has not competed since the Masters in April as he continues his recovery from leg injuries suffered in a serious car accident in February 2021.

Woods is the host of the event in the Bahamas which features a 20-man field and no cut.

Who else is in the field?

Viktor Hovland returns as the two-time defending champion while world number one Scottie Scheffler plays competitively for the first time since the Ryder Cup in Rome.

Open champion Brian Harman is also taking part, as are the likes of Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick and Jordan Spieth.

When does Woods tee off?

Woods is due to hit his first tee shot at 4.52pm UK time on Thursday afternoon. He goes out in the middle of the field alongside long-time friend Justin Thomas.

Sam Burns and Scheffler go out before them with Jason Day and Collin Morikawa following them off the first.

How do I watch?

You can see all the action on Sky Sports Golf, with all four days from Albany screened live. The action gets underway on Thursday at 6.30pm UK time.

Is this a proper PGA Tour event or an exhibition?

The Hero World Challenge is part of the PGA tour and World Golf Ranking points are being awarded. No FedExCup points are granted, however.
