Fledgling Manchester PR firm appointed by leading tax specialist

A new Manchester PR agency has been appointed by one of the UK’s leading specialist tax firms.

Finnoah PR, which officially launched last month, has been appointed by Manchester-based consultancy Forbes Dawson, which manages the tax affairs some of the UK’s most successful business owners and entrepreneurs, to enhance its growing regional and national profile.

Founded by award-winning PR expert and former senior national journalist Steven Kelly, the Stockport agency will spearhead Forbes Dawson’s media relations and social media strategy.

Top tier coverage

Kelly previously worked with Forbes Dawson at a former PR agency, where he secured placements for the client in leading media outlets, including FT Adviser, Sky News, The Telegraph, This is Money and Investors’ Chronicle.

Tom Minnikin, partner at Forbes Dawson, said Kelly’s earlier work had “far exceeded” expectations.

“Having worked with Steven for many months during this year and last, it was an easy decision to want to continue the success we have already experienced,” Mr Minnikin said.

“We very much look forward to further developing our profile at regional and national level. We are confident Finnoah PR is the right agency to help us achieve our aims.”

Exciting opportunity

Before moving into public relations in 2015, Kelly was a senior journalist for leading national newgroups such as Trinity Mirror, Reach Plc and Guardian Media Group.

“Since launching in 2012, Forbes Dawson has built a reputation for being the go-to adviser for those with complex tax affairs over the last decade,” he added. “The business is a leader in its field and consistently delivers tax expertise to clients and media, regularly showcasing its value to the millions of readers of key publications.

“The team is delighted to have welcomed the company to the Finnoah PR family and look forward to a successful future working together.”
