LSU Live Baseball College World Series Online Broadcast 17 June 2023

The SEC has dominated the College World Series lately and that script seems to be staying consistent in 2023. The conference has three schools still playing in this tournament including No. 2 Florida who has already won in the first bracket beating No. 7 Virginia on Friday night in a wild walk-off comeback. The SEC has won the last three championships here in Omaha.

LSU has yet to lose a game in the NCAA postseason, sweeping Kentucky in the Baton Rouge super regional. Tennessee rallied following a Game 1 loss to Southern Miss to win the Hattiesburg super regional.

The Tigers (48-15) clinched their 19th appearance in the College World Series last Sunday when they defeated Kentucky, 8-3, in Game 2 of the Baton Rouge Super Regional. LSU also won Game 1 of the super regional in dominant fashion the day before, 14-0.

It is the sixth College World Series appearance in program history and its second under Tony Vitello. The Vols also reached Omaha in 2021, its first appearance since 2005. UT went 0-2 in both 2005 and 2021.

Tennessee and LSU played this season in Baton Rouge with the home team Tigers taking two of three from the Vols, but now meet on a neutral field in Omaha, Nebraska in hopes of punching a ticket to the semifinals.

National Player of the Year Paul Skenes threw seven innings, collecting one earned run and a whopping 12 strikeouts against the Volunteers. Ty Floyd didn’t fare as well against Tennessee, allowing four earned in six innings.

With an ESPN Plus account you can not only watch the LSU and Tennessee NCAA Tournament Super Regionals baseball game, but many other 2023 NCAA Tournament games this summer. Plus there are tons of other sports and original series, including every 30-for-30 documentary, ready to stream when you want to watch them.
