New director appointment for fast growing Private Client Solicitors

A leading boutique private client firm has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new director.

Manchester-based Private Client Solicitors (PCS) has welcomed Ryan Lewis as Client Relationship Director as the fast-growing firm eyes further expansion.

Ryan joins from Nestor/Chase De Vere and has more than 20 years of experience in business development roles working with both large, regional, and national organisations.

He brings a wide range of experience in dealing with law firms, professional bodies, financial institutions, accountancy firms, and barrister chambers.

Ryan will help the PCS team strengthen their relationship with corporates and high net individuals as well as using his expertise to harness expansion opportunities with existing and new client relationships.

Ryan said: “As a start-up, Private Clients Solicitors’ reputation as a firm that delivers services with unrivalled technical expertise across several areas was a huge draw for me.

“I’m thoroughly looking forward to building on existing customer relationships and bringing my own industry expertise to new clients.

“I am looking forward to working with a boutique firm that puts customers at the heart of everything it does.”

PCS was founded by award-winning lawyer Tasnim Khalid in September 2021 after working for several years leading the private client department of one of the region’s biggest full-service law practices.

Ryan’s appointment now takes the total number of people at PCS to 28 with plans to recruit further in 2023.

Tasnim said: “This is an exciting time for Private Client Solicitors as we continue to expand with the breadth and strength of our services to both clients in the North West and the wider UK.

“Ryan brings with him a vast range of experience, a proven track record of building strong client relationships and a passion for driving new business and we are delighted to welcome him to our senior management team.”

She added: “Ryan’s appointment is a testament to the firm’s continued growth since we launched less than two years ago.

“We are looking forward to working with Ryan in this next chapter of our journey.”

Since launching, PCS has gone from strength to strength with several accolades and awards. In 2022 the firm was awarded Emerging Law Firm of the Year by Chambers HNW Guide. PCS was also ranked as Band One in the Chambers HNW Guide and featured as a “firm to watch” in the Legal 500.

Tasnim was recently honoured with Returner of the Year award at the Women in Diversity Law Awards held in London recently.

The firm has also been shortlisted for Team of the Year – Private Client and Law Firm of the Year – Small at the Manchester Legal Awards which take place on 8 June.
