Local Care Force Is First Company in UK to Achieve ‘Priory Elite’ Status for Compliance

Local Care Force is thrilled to reveal that it is the first nursing, social and healthcare agency to receive ‘Priory Elite’ Status in the inaugural Priory Elite Awards for compliance. This recognition is awarded to suppliers and was launched by Priory – the UK’s leading independent provider of adult social care and mental healthcare  in 2022.

Priory has a strong track record of clinical excellence and compliance, and launched the Elite Awards to audit agency providers. LCF has been supplying Nurses, Support and Care workers to the organisation for over a decade and prides itself on vigorously vetting its  workers before enabling  them to work with those who are vulnerable.

The rigorous and comprehensive annual audit is undertaken by an independent auditor on behalf of Priory. In addition to the audit itself, there is a  95% and over pass rate required for  companies to be eligible for consideration for Priory Elite status, which Local Care Force was able to demonstrate.

Daniel Ashenden, UK Agency Manager at Priory, said; “I am pleased to acknowledge the achievement of Local Care Force with the Priory Elite Award Status for compliance, the first award of its kind and the first company to achieve this feat as part of the Temporary Agency Preferred Supplier List (PSL).

“Providing the best care to our patients, residents and service users, and helping our staff to deliver the best services, is paramount, and so our expectations and standards of compliance are understandably high. Achieving 95% with no loss of marks in critical areas highlights the standards and processes that LCF holds – and this aligns with several of Priory’s core values, such as ‘being supportive’ and ‘acting with integrity’, and I hope that by highlighting this achievement, this helps inspire others to acquire this standard.”

On receiving the recognition, Paul JonesPartner at LCF said; “Safety is the foundation of all we do and whilst our in-depth compliance processes are rightly strenuous  both for our agency workers and compliance team, this positive recognition is wholeheartedly welcomed by everyone at Local Care Force.

“Working in partnership with Priory – whose core values of putting people first and acting with integrity align perfectly with ours, fostering mutual support and respect, works because we share the common goal of striving for excellence in our fields.

“We’re overwhelmed and proud to have been the first company in the country to be awarded ‘Priory Elite’ status in recognition of our hard work and high standards,’ said Leanne Silverwood, managing director of LCF.

Since 2004, Local Care Force has supplied the nursing, health, and social care sectors with temporary and permanent staff. Established by experienced Nursing and Social care professionals, the team has used its professional expertise in the sector to ensure the highest standards. As a preferred supplier to multiple private hospitals, social care providers, Nursing/care homes and prisons, it has many contracts that have spanned well over a decade. With just under 50 employees and over 1500 temporary workers, Local Care Force has central offices in Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield, and covers the whole of Yorkshire and Lancashire.
