SARAH WILLINGHAM EX-DRAGONS’ DEN STAR OPENS TONIGHT JOSEPHINE IN LIVERPOOL

NIGHTCAP PLC’S FIRST BAR IN THE NORTH

Today (28 October), Tonight Josephine, part of The Adventure Bar Group owned by Nightcap Plc, opens its doors in Liverpool marking it as the first venue of its kind in the North of England.

Nightcap Plc founded by ex-Dragon’s Den star, Sarah Willingham marks its transition into the north with this first venture in Liverpool, with the move an important milestone for the businesses growth strategy as it continues its rapid expansion across the UK.

Nightcap Plc’s investment into the north will help improve footfall within the city centre, aiding a boost within the local economy. The new Tonight Josephine site, which has been redeveloped by family-owned building group Stenball, has been transformed from the old City Buffet into a standout bar covering almost 8,000 sq ft of space, split across a ground floor entrance, basement and lower basement. The venue’s size makes it one of Nightcap’s biggest venues, and the biggest Tonight Josephine yet.

The new venue has already created  25 new jobs for local team members at the venue, and will be continuing to grow the team post-launch creating evenmore hospitality jobs in the local area.

Tonight Josephine Liverpool has a brand new look and feel compared to the existing portfolio. There is plenty of the hot pink Instagrammable areas, and Barbiecore the brand has become synonymous with, however, the venue see’s inspiration from the wild-wild west meet all things bling and glam alongside lashings of bright green neon seen throughout the building.

Sarah Willingham, chief executive officer of Nightcap plc comments: “Liverpool is known for its incredible people, culture and, of course, nightlife, so it felt like the perfect location to open our first northern venue and the right fit for Tonight Josephine. We’ve seen great success from our sister sites across London, Bristol and Birmingham, so it only seemed right that we introduced Tonight Josephine to the ultimate party city. We’re looking forward to welcoming more people to Tonight Josephine Liverpool over the coming months.”
