Business Manchester to be media partner for the Festival of Manufacturing Excellence

The virtual Festival, on 7/8 October, has been organised by The Manufacturing Institute and offers an outstanding experience to help manufacturing business leaders redefine their roles and enable organisations to build their future around their people.

Commented Andrew Mann, Group Editor, Business Manchester: “As one of 2020’s leading manufacturing events, Business Manchester is delighted to work in partnership with The Manufacturing Institute, as a media partner.

“Over two live festival days, the event includes five keynote speakers, eight masterclasses for world class manufacturing companies, associated workshops and virtual networking opportunities, as well as 30 days of on demand content. Registered attendees can either participate live or take their time to watch and absorb the content. It is certainly an event not to missed, if you are involved with the manufacturing sector.“

Added Mark Leeson, event organiser: “Our ambition for this first ever Festival of Manufacturing Excellence is to create an incredible learning platform like no other, bringing participants closer to industry leaders, global manufacturers and peers across the sector.

“Moving from complexity to simplicity is at the heart of our 2020 Festival: how to achieve it and the benefits it brings. We will look at how eliminating complexity can improve performance and outline how a streamlined approach reduces waste, avoids errors, and makes life simpler for employees – and their business.

“It will certainly be a Festival to be proud of and hopefully one we will repeat next year.”
