BOSGAME Unveils Plans for M5 MAX, a High-Memory AI Mini Workstation with AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495

LONDON, UK. September 2nd, 2026 – BOSGAME has announced a preview of its upcoming flagship Mini PC, the BOSGAME M5 MAX, with availability currently expected between late September and mid-October 2026.

The new system represents BOSGAME’s move into a higher-performance class of compact desktops, with a focus on memory capacity and local AI computing.

Powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, the M5 MAX will sit above BOSGAME’s current M5 platform. It is being positioned as a high-performance AI Mini Workstation for AI developers, content creators, software developers, and professional users who need greater computing and memory capacity than a traditional Mini PC can deliver.

The initial configuration is planned with 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. This combination is intended to support demanding local AI experimentation, large-model workloads, creative software, development environments, and intensive multitasking.

The AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 features 16 CPU cores and 32 threads, with boost frequencies reaching up to 5.2GHz. The processor also incorporates Radeon 8065S graphics and an NPU delivering up to 55 TOPS, while total AI performance can reach up to 131 TOPS.

For BOSGAME, however, the M5 MAX is about more than raw processor specifications.

James Cao, General Manager at BOSGAME, said, “With the M5 MAX, we wanted to go beyond simply making a faster Mini PC. We wanted to rethink how much computing capability could be brought into a compact system. The 128GB configuration is just the beginning.”

As AI workloads increasingly shift from cloud-based services to local hardware, memory capacity is becoming a more important consideration. Larger models and resource-intensive applications can place significant demands on system memory, and the M5 MAX has been developed with those requirements in mind.

The M5 MAX is intended to operate as a versatile desktop workstation rather than a closed compact system. Connectivity options include OCuLink PCIe 4.0 x4, two USB4 ports, dual 10GbE, Wi-Fi 7, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and SD 4.0. These interfaces support high-speed peripherals, networking, external displays, and expansion.

BOSGAME also plans to expand the platform in the future. A 192GB memory configuration with 2TB of storage is planned for early 2027, providing additional headroom for increasingly demanding AI and professional applications.

The M5 MAX is currently expected to launch between late September and mid-October 2026. The initial 128GB + 2TB model is expected to carry a price of between US$3,600 and US$3,800.
