Manchester’s ClearVC shortlisted twice at AV Awards 2026 for innovative AutoTrader project

Manchester audio-visual and workplace automation technology provider ClearVC is celebrating receiving double recognition at the AV awards.

The company’s commitment to its successful AV integration projects has seen them shortlisted for Integrator of the Year ’.

The completion of their brand new 86-space technology deployment for Autotrader HQ also saw them make the shortlist for ‘Corporate Project Of The Year.’

This marks the second award nod for the ambitious project, with office interior designers
Oktra already winning Project of the Year: Design and Build Bronze National Award for
it earlier in the year.

The project, which took two years to complete, supported Autotrader’s relocation of more
than 1000 employees into a new Manchester headquarters, with every system fully operational from the first day of occupation.

Working alongside principal contractor Oktra and Autotrader’s internal project team, ClearVC delivered 44 meeting rooms, 14 collaboration spaces, and 26 meeting pods with integrated room booking, alongside two flagship communication environments: a 24.4-metre curved LED reception canvas covering approximately 120 square metres, and a multi-purpose auditorium fitted with a 12m x 3.6m LED display for company-wide and hybrid events.

The project saw big-name technology partners integrated into the build, including Yealink, Ochno, Sony, Q-SYS, Shure, Sennheiser and LED Studio.

David Grierson, Workplace Project Manager at Autotrader, said: “For us, the most important thing was that everything worked from day one. We needed the building fully operational so teams could hit the ground running. If the tech wasn’t ready, it would have a real impact on productivity across the business”.

The success joins a long line of completed projects for ClearVC, which has been delivering audio-visual and workplace technology solutions for over 15 years, working with hundreds of organisations across corporate, public sector and manufacturing environments.

Rebecca McCartney, managing director of ClearVC, said: “For us, success has never been measured simply by the technology we deliver. It’s measured by the experience we help create for our customers and the people who use those spaces every day. This project brought together an exceptional client, talented partners, and a passionate project team, all working towards the same goal of creating a workplace that genuinely makes a difference.

“To see that collective effort recognised with a Corporate Project of the Year shortlist at the AV Awards 2026 is something we’re incredibly proud of. While the Corporate Project of the Year nomination recognises one standout project, Integrator of the Year also represents something much broader. Being shortlisted for this category is a huge moment for ClearVC and a brilliant reflection of the work our team puts in every day on every single one of our projects.”
