The State of Play
The Lucknow Super Giants will look to build on their win over the Punjab Kings when they face Royal Challengers Bengaluru tomorrow.
The Super Giants lost their opener against the Rajasthan Royals but bounced back well by seeing off the Kings by 21 runs.
Krunal Pandya and Mayank Yadav were Lucknow’s star performers – Pandya smashing a 22-ball 43 not out before Yadav claimed three for 27 from four excellent overs to stifle the Kings’ reply.

The Challengers also beat the Punjab Kings but have suffered defeats either side, to the Chennai Super Kings and, most recently, the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Their one shining light so far has been the form of Virat Kohli, who hit a crowd-pleasing 83 not out against the Knight Riders only for the Challengers’ bowling unit to mis-fire as they lost by seven wickets.
Captain Faf du Plessis has yet to shine and he and Glenn Maxwell, another Challengers batter short of runs, will hope to make a sizeable contribution.

Prediction
With Kohli in form and the likes of Du Plessis and Maxwell due a good score, it is hard to imagine the Challengers not posting a sizeable total, especially as it will be a flat pitch at Chinnaswamy.
De Kock is the obvious dangerman for Lucknow but we fancy Bengaluru to get the job done.
